Snapper Rocks

We had dinner on New Years Eve 2023. It was absolutely amazing and couldn't fault anyone. The staff are consistently exceptional in their knowledge of the food and drinks! We want to say a special thank you to Chloe who helped us choose the wine to pair without food. Perfection! We had the whole snapper as a main to share and it was divine. For entree we had the natural oysters with the vignarette and that was also divine! Will definitely return again and again no doubt!:)

Had dinner here on 17.01.24 - Servers were prompt, informative & friendly. The food was incredible, though not everything that was listed on the dish on the menu came on the plate (no biggie). The atmosphere is lovely, they’ve got a great location.

We had a yummy late lunch here. Salads and baos were really nice. Moctsils were great too. Would recommend - and there are lots of options to choose from.

My friend and I ordered the pepper and salt crocodile. We tried crocodile for the first time and it was pretty nice. The service was really good and quick. We can recommend this restaurant.

Outstanding value had the Fish Wings and the Chicken my wife had the sardines and crispy barramundi

Service was very average. Was there with the wife on a Saturday afternoon and the place was nearly empty with plenty of staff on but we continually had to wave for attention or attend the bar ourselves to order food and drinks ($18 cocktails!)
I assume mostly untrained international staff, who prefer to socialize/flirt with each other than serve their customers. I’m a local but won’t be going back.

Food and drinks were nice, service left little to be desired. We were chased down the street demanding payment after we had paid 10 minutes earlier, clearly no communication between the staff. Was quiet upsetting. Realistically won’t be going back as an apology wasn’t even offered with said staff member.

During our visit to Darwin my wife and I dined at Snapper Rocks. We were pleasantly surprised by the choice of different dishes on the menu as well as the quality of the food. Good presentation with excellent flavors accompanied by good efficient and friendly service. The drinks and atmosphere were particularly good, and it is priced reasonably. I would definitely recommend it

Staff were attentive but brought the wrong type of water to the table. Asked for still and got sparkling. Chicken in the Peri Peri dish was dry. Burger was good and tasty. Oysters were fresh.

Food was absolutely spectacular! We ordered and shared the 2 x oysters (bacon and cheddar), slow cooked lamb Bao, snapper ceviche, grilled prawns & sticky beef salad - WOW! Every dish was presented well and had mouth watering flavours. Definitely a must if you’re visiting Darwin Waterfront. Worth every penny! Thank you.

The food was amazing, impeccable service, friendly atmosphere and the misters were a much needed and appreciated extra.

I really enjoyed the food, it was all very tasty - I particularly enjoyed their snapper sushi bowl. In terms of vibes as a place to sit and enjoy a good chat, highly recommend.

We have our 35th Wedding anniversary Dinner here and they was so great and the food was so good TY!

Booked for wedding anniversary. Contacted via email to arrange special vegetarian dish (potato, carrot and broccolini in garlic sauce - not difficult). Confirmed this with two waitresses upon arrival. My special meal didn't arrive. When advised had to wait for it to be cooked only to receive steamed beans and carrot - nothing else. We walked out. Way to ruin someone's anniversary. I contacted by email prior and confirmed it would be OK. If it's too difficult they should just say so, as I could've booked somewhere else. Will never retrun

Food quality was quite average, not very tasty and small portion size. Also, staff is frequently but would benefit from some up skilling as they are not very attentive.

Had barramundi and a drink here. Very nice venue and helpful staff. The food came out promptly. Great spot on the waterfront too.

. In 4 days, breakfast lunch and dinner most restaurants were a fail. When I come back this place will be my go to. Thanks Chef and great service.

Enjoyed the happy hour mango daquries, not the iciest. Staff were ok but not overly friendly or efficient. Great waterfront location and cooling water misting in the outdoor verandah section.

Service was a bit slow but good, got iced water for the dogs. Food was excellent and good value
