Signatures on Woods

This accommodation is set within Oaks hotel, if you didn't know it, it can be confusing. The virtual reception is by phone only which is fine.
They do not top up amenities, such as coffee, sugar, toilet paper, shampoo etc so if you are staying more than a few nights, get prepared! We really enjoyed our stay and had no problems. Great price at great location!

NEVER STAY HERE! THIS WILL NOT LET ME GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR!
As a family for my 40th birthday we had hired 4 apartments for a week. There were problems from the start. It was not exactly clean to start.
Our fridge did not cool and was reported on day 2. We stayed 10 nights and fridge-was looked at night 9 after many calls and emails! Hundreds of dollars of food lost as we shopped first day for our 10 nights!
BBQ worked on 1 of the 4 apartments.
All families had kids and were told 2 single beds in 2 bedrooms and this did not happen.
We were fobbed off at all times and continue to be by management of the establishment who have failed to return promised calls or send maintenance all while hiding behind staffing and excuses they work or don’t work Darwin hours.
Stay at your own peril!

Recently stayed at the apartments. Great property and room layout. The called me to ensure my stay was going well. Lovely manager. Will stay again, next time I am in Darwin.

Firstly please be aware that this is a weird set up. The ‘hotel’ is actually Oaks Elan, and Signatures on Woods is on the 13th floor. You are told not to talk the the reception at the Oaks, the ‘reception’ is virtual.

We had a family group staying, with a total of 4 rooms, all of the rooms had problems.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. The room only had 2 double beds. Not the best of my teenage children.
The fridge was not working, I sent an email virtual reception to let them know and received a response to say someone would be there to fix it in the morning. No one came. I gave it another day and emailed again, I received an apology and told someone will be there the next day. Again no one.
The same thing happened 4 times. No one came to the apartment until my partner called and complained.
By this time, the air conditioner was leaking like a tap, and we had found that the BBQ also didn’t work.
When the manager arrived she was patronising and totally unaccommodating. I quote ‘most people don’t even use the fridge! ’

I suggested a reasonable fix was to move us to another room, bring in a portable fridge or even an esky with ice, to no response.

She left saying that she would contact the owner and get back to us that day. She never got back to us. We called again to find out what had happened, the receptionist said that she would get the manager to call, I received an email from the operation director. The email stated that the fridge would be replaced after we had left. He offered to paid for the spoilt food, which I accepted but said it was not satisfactory for us not to have an operating fridge. The manager again wrote that he would reimburse the cost of the food, but there was nothing else he could do. When I again said that this was not acceptable he revoked the offer the offer to pay for the food. He offered a ridiculously low discount on the accommodation (this did not cover the cost of the food or the inconvenience). I have informed them that I would be taking the issue to consumer affairs. I quote this from his email ‘Every now and then you come across someone who does things a little out of the norm. ’ Again a comment that I find condescending.
Entirely unsatisfied with our stay.
Darwin is beautiful though and full of amazing people. Just don’t stay here.

I have stayed here numerous times, in fact I won't stay anywhere else. Central Darwin location, superb views, all amenities catered for in spotless apartment

Pleasant enough but have stayed in cheaper & better accommodation in Darwin.
