SeaLink Northern Territory reviews
11Sea link was really easy and staff helpful, went to tiwi and the deckhand claire was very nice as I was seasick she helped me out and had a chat to make me feel better
Self-guided day trip to the Tiwi Islands. We had a wonderful time exploring the Wurrumiyanga on our own. SeaLink is the only way to get there, and we thought the service was excellent.
45 minutes harbour tour is excellent pleasure to understand bit of Darwin history. The skipper was Knowledgeable and full of humour.
Went to Cullen Bay Sealink terminal today to enquire about ferry to Mandorah for lunch. Told Mandorah Country Club no longer does lunches and there's nothing to see for tourists at Mandorah anyway. Don't bother wasting your time a Cullen Bay. It used to be a thriving hub - now a dead waste of time.
I can't praise enough the Sealink crew! Gabby went an extra mile for me to find the souvenirs I accidentally left behind in Tiwi Islands and was very caring and helpful towards me and other people who got seasick. Outstanding customer service! Thanks so much again!
Tiwi by Design day tour to the Tiwi Islands
Had a great day immersing ourselves and learning about the culture and art of the Tiwi Islands. We all enjoyed screen printing our own Tiwi design tea towel.
Thoroughly enjoyed the smoke ceremony and welcome dance, the locals so friendly and welcoming.
The tour of the church (featured in the movie ‘Top End Wedding’) was really interesting and Vivian our guide for the day was fantastic a wealth of knowledge!
Lunch was a selection of of sandwiches, fruit and little tasty bites was fresh and delicious.
A long day but well worth it!
I’d suggest making sure you have charged devices & extra battery block (especially if traveling with children), to keep them entertained on the ferry there & back as it’s a long cruise over and back.
Very helpful staff booked to go to Bathurst Island and Mandura to country club for dinner. Sealink is a now large company all over Oz. They started in SA FROM CAPE JERVIS TO KAngaroo Island. Will adviise of my trip late next month
Went on a return trip to Bathurst island on one of Sealinks boats today the boat cruise a staff are excellent the issue I have is watching a big tv screen to 5 hours which only showed some Sealink advertising along with its covid segregation message would be great to have some other picture even fish swimming across the screen or other tourist info.
Trip to crab claw, great boat ride real ground coffee available on board good price, all you can eat lunch real good quality, great day out.
Paid $660 for the 1 day Tiwi By Design tour today and looked like being an expensive 5 hour ride on a ferry to Bathurst Island. One and a half hours short in our itinerary because we had to be ferried to shore in three groups on a barge. I’m sure the barge crew and ferry crew had not discussed how they were going to get us safely to the Island prior to arriving. Suppose to be there for morning tea but made it for lunch. What a shamble, if it wasn’t for the wonderful local people on the Island doing their best to make our tour enjoyable in the shortened time frame, then it would have certainly been an expensive trip to Bathurst Island.
I sent this letter to the NT News today 29 June 2017
Dear Sir/Madam
Yesterday was a beautiful day around Darwin Harbour. At 8: 30 three pensioners and a pup set out from the Trailer Boat Club for a short cruise. Unfortunately off Mindil Beach the motor stopped and would not start again.
After a fruitless hour of phone calls no assistance was available, and sadly no other boats came near. However a glimpse of the Mandorah Ferry going into Cullen Bay generated a different approach, and a phone call to Sealink was wonderfully received. They sent out a craft to tow us to shore, the Mandorah Ferry no less! The crew were totally professional and had us safely to the dock within half an hour, then spent another half hour trying to unblock the fuel line.
Once we had the pup ashore, and the auxiliary motor fuelled and attached, then it was a slow but successful race against the tide back to the TBC. That could not have happened without the fantastic assistance from Sealink and the wonderful ferry crew. Thank you all.
