Saddleworld NT / Station Gate

Five star aren’t enough for Saddleworld Coolalinga. For the past few days I’ve been trying to sort out getting a new saddle for my short backed horse and it was throwing me all over the place. The Ladies at saddleworld took every opportunity to help me, allowed me to bring my saddle in to compare and even went as far as to call a master saddle fitter in another end of Australia for advise. They were understanding of my problems and offered me every bit of support and compassion.

Went in to buy a new wide brim felt hat. Came out with the perfect hat and fit for me. Didn't try to blow my budget and were great in service. Really couldn't fault it.

I have been using saddlworld since the day it opened for boots, jeans, shirts, hats and many of my requirements for the horses.have literally spent thousands.after the way the owner spoke to me today (she needs to look up the term customer service), I will not be giving her a cent of my money because with her attitude I would rather drive further to other stores.shame really as there are some good staff there - they deserve better too!

I was treated poorly in store by the staff. I tried to contact the owner/ manager but they refused to call me back. I was a regular customer but will never step foot in the store again. They need to remember that everything they sell is available online or other stores around Darwin.

Take note Katherine residents. Went into saddle world Coolalinga on the 5.12.2020 as I have done many time before and ordered a pair of Ariat boots, I wanted to pay a deposit and as they were busy Christmas rush the shop assistant stated all good we will give you a call when they come in about a week. 2 months later after a several follow up calls, to find out where the boots were in. Saddle world rang last Wednesday 27.1.2021 boots were in, pay for them when you come in we will put them aside, they asked "when could I come in" I said the following Saturday 3 days, 30.1.2021, Later as I had to drive up from Katherine to Coolalinga, even offered to pay for then, told all good see you Saturday. Great and was happy finally old boots which are well worn and were bought originally guess where. Saddle world. Saturday came, jumped in the car 300km up to Saddleworld. Arrived. Low and behold they had SOLD the boots to someone else. I ran through I have just driven from Katherine 3 hrs after someone from saddle world had called on Wednesday and put them aside. I then got you didn't pay. I them re-laid the above explanation, Basically how sad to bad, if you want boots pay in full now we will order them in again and that takes as long as it takes, COVID and we can post to Katherine at your expense. 300km home again no boots, tank of fuel, had previously spent thousands over the years at Saddle world on clothing, stock feed, Equestrian gear you name it I've bought it, for my 7 dogs, 2 Cats, 12 Horses, 150 Cattle, 30 Chooks. NO MORE I WILL NOT BE BACK IN THAT STORE, TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE AND THE YOUNG LADY THAT SERVED ME SHE NEEDS A LESSON IN MANNERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE/ RELATIONS AND GAVE NO APOLOGY FOR MY EXPERIENCE. I will share this experience with all my friends and the equestrian community. I have always been a great believer in buy locally helps our community. I just bought the same boots online direct from Ariat for $50 cheaper than I was to pay with Saddleworld and free postage. Ariat also gave me a free T-Shirt with the purchase.

A really great range of horse and general pet products. Very friendly staff. Drive through service for heavy items and feed is excellent.

I am not a horse lover I was just tagging along with my sister Sylvia and it was neat and staff were friendly.

For a saddle shop it is very good friendly staff prices reasonable for Darwin they have a large variety saddle gear and and other gear for people With horses. A great range of clothing and boots
