2What a great place! We came for lunch (group of 6) mid-week. The homestead is amazing, lots of history and old-world charm. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The local wildlife is beautiful - the host even showed the kids how to feed the galahs. The grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back - but stay for a few days next time.
I was here around about 35 years ago, it was great then and even better now! Has hung onto it's originality and old world charm, has ancient rock formations as your camping backdrop and a 5 million star view at night, and, being a connoisseur of the "burger with the lot" this place rates with the best of the best, and you can wash it down with an icy cold beverage of whatever you desire, loved it and loved the magical gorges and walks with tips and suggestions from the very knowledgeable managers, thanks Ross River Homestead for everything
