Riverview Tourist Village

Neat campsite with shady garden leaks and a swimming pool (a bit salty water). Toilets and showers are clean. Good communal kitchen with 2 fridges and a seating area, 2 washing machines (4x$1) and a dryer. Friendly staff at reception and also lots of information at reception.
Pity that the unpowered campsites are quite close to a relatively busy road so there is some noise pollution from road traffic.
Within walking distance of the Hot Springs.
Unpowered site $35/nght 2p.

My partner and I only planned on passing through Katherine on our road trip until our van broke down. The owners of the park were kind enough to take us in late and night and were overall very helpful and understanding of our situation for the 2 days we were stranded. We ended up really enjoying out unexpected stay! The toilets and showers were always really clean, great kitchen/relax area, nice pool area and only minutes walk to the springs that are at the door step of the park! Definitely recommend a stay here.

Cannot talk about the rooms but a great place to stay. Hot springs 500 metres from the back gate. Robyn and Bianca in reception go the extra mile to book or find you places to go or things to do. 10/10.

Unfriendly receptionist but the hot springs out the back are nice. Noisy motel area with an aircon like a jet plane. The drifters like to drink cans all night. Stones throw to Katherine gorge.

Well maintained park. Friendly staff. Large shady tree canopy over the entire park. Close to the Hot springs.

After camping for a while thought we'd spoil ourselves with a cabin overnight.big mistake the cabin was ancient nearly falling apart air conditioner made weird noises all night floor hadn't been swept just this tiny cabin cost $130 for the night wished we had have looked before we had paid very disappointing will not be back. Staff were lovely it isn't thier fault.

Shady park is conveniently situated near the Hot Springs and bike path. Everything is well presented and the staff obliging.

Enjoyed our stay here, very friendly people and old but clean facilities. My husband was amazed that they had a sink and soap at the dump point to clean your hands after emptying the cassette. Excellent, first time we’ve seen that. Thanks

Nice 2.5km walk into town.
Hot Springs 350mtrs away.
Manager nice and easy to talk to. Crew trying to clean up the leaves but a job and a half I can tell you.
Park very busy - like most others these days.
Good shady area to park the van - negates the heat a little.

Great caravan park just 5 minutes out of Katherine. Lovely rural outlook, and the amenities are very clean, and the grounds are well maintained and littered with palm trees and mango trees. Very pretty quiet park, and thoroughly recommend it.

Nice little park. Facilities are decent. The hot springs are 5 Min walk from the back gate. Pool area is clean and tidy.

Staff was amazing when booking in.
Site was close to highway, refrigeration van and trucks pulling up right near us. Back gate says open from 7am till 7pm gate was still not open when people next to me walked around and down to springs at 8.45am.shame

We stayed one night traveling through Katherine with a rooftop tent.
Staff were lovely upon greeting us, the pool area was much needed on this 35degree night and the shade from all the trees was perfect! Entrance to hot springs from the caravan park.

Well located and reasonable price. Large caravan sites and quiet location. Would definitely stay again

Pretty run down. Lots of shade at front, but noise from road to go with it. Having said that, stayed 3 nights no problems. Would have liked opportunity to choose site down back where quieter, such is life.

Complete and clean facilities.
A few minutes walk to the (hot springs) river behind the park.
The river has warm flowing very clear water.
Good for the experience but cannot recommend swimming.
A few of us developed skin rashes, allergies.

This caravan park is the best in Katherine and the springs are delightful, much nicer than Mataranka

Stayed 12 months ago when it was packed and wasn't a fan. Came back this time later in the season and not as crowded. Hot Springs and pool in 40 degree heat was very comforting. Paid for 1 night, then stayed for 5. Will definately stay again.

Bit dated could do with a revamp lease operation so operator more interested in milking the cash flow. Really handy for the hot springs
