Quest Alice Springs reviews
36 Off-street secure parking.
Poorly maintained rooms and kitchen appliances dirty - oven (and oven trays) unclean and a 1cm layer of frozen water in the freezer.
The king bed was two singles combined an uncomfortable.
There were a couple of complimentary Snickers bars given but I still wasn’t satisfied?
We had a very nice and decent stay in Quest, th rooms are nice and tidy. The service is great and very centrally located to pretty much everything. The rooms have cooking equipment and microwave, toaster etc which is great for an extended stay.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the room was everything we needed, but it is getting a bit tired.
Not like it used to be…
Not serviced
Bed half made
Teaspoon was not cleaned from previous guest and put back in the draw
Cushions has drool stains
Could not park in secure on site parking, our car had to be parked in an allotment next door
This place is OK, not great. We were supposed to be in 1 bedroom apartment but had a stuff up. So in studio room, way too small for our 5 night stay.no balcony and windows had metal sun shade, so feels like living in a prison. Walls between rooms are thin, so everything is heard. Up on second floor and no lift, stairs are steep. Lots of late night, early hours aggression/fights outside along the Todd River where they sleep by locals.
Cleaning staff are good.
Clean, spacious and well equipped apartments, but compared with other Quest locations:
- no gym
- no elevators
- small pool not suitable for swimming laps
- wifi variable, works in some rooms but not others (I’ve stayed in 4 rooms here)
The water in Alice Springs is extremely hard but there’s no water filter here and most of the kettles in the rooms look like the photo attached.
However, very friendly staff who were very accommodating and allowed me to move rooms when I was experiencing noise issues.
Pretty much what you expect. Our room clean and as expected.
We had one very poor reception experience and one very good. Different people.
There should be no star rating for severely under performing accommodation such as Quest in Alice Springs! Everything about this place is just disgusting! And the fact that management seem least bothered by it is even more disturbing! From cockroaches, to short supply or no supply of amenities, stained sheets it’s a circus!
Quest need to train the management to better serve the customers at the price we pay! It’s not cheap!
The staff went above and beyond to assist us after we had a vehicle and caravan accident. We had no where to stay, it was after dark, Alice Springs was booked out, the staff were amazing and not only found us a room for 5 nights, found us the same room for 5 nights. The Secure parking, large rooms and late arrival opposition (until 1 am) were greatly appreciated. Price per night was competitive and we were given a good rate, highly recommend. Cleaning staff very friendly and provided a great service.
Leni and Joshi went above and beyond for our daughters stay. She stayed at The Quest for almost two weeks and they were polite, understanding and responded to all her concerns/needs promptly. My husband went for one week and he too said the staff were 'amazing. '
I would not hesitate to stay there myself when I go visit my daughter.
Thank you for making their stay memorable! Well done!
This place is nice but they keep putting me in the same room. Upstairs with a bung knee. With the phone service not working I had to go down stairs 3 times because:
Card lock not activated so locked out.
No milk in fridge.
Tv not working.
Staff are very helpful and friendly and location is ok but not in the main centre of Alice Springs but if you need a taxi to go there the staff will help and only costs ten dollars. Rooms clean but prices a little high.
A great hotel with good pricing and Comfortable rooms. Good place to spend time with your family.
Stayed in a 1 Bedroom Apartment for 4 nights.
Fridge had old food left in it from the previous guests & not enough parking available for all guests overnight.
For just under a $1,000 for 4 nights we expected better.
Don’t go there if you want an early check in! The price doesn’t worth it: bed blanket smells really bad, bad shower, the cleaning is not good, kitchen hood and hair dryer didn’t work!
Clean and comfortable but let down by broken items in the bathroom, pool covered in leaves (and not heated) and even little things like no pen provided at the desk. Feels like they are cutting costs but the room is still pretty expensive compared to other places we've stayed on this trip.
Avoid Quest Alice Springs at any cost.
Very rude staff refused to provide refund during pandemic/lockdown. Also rejected our check-in on the spot because the staff insisted to use the outdated info provided by booking web site. We had nowhere to stay and needed to find another accommodation at a more experience price after the frustrated argument.
Quest Alice Springs is unable to listen to customers and don't care about them.
Great staff at reception, good secure parking, clean modern rooms and a clean bbq area with all utensils.
A fair walk into town but close to the tourist precinct and the casino.
Friendly staff comfortable rooms. They were able to accommodate us on the biggest weekend in Alice. Highly recommended.
Second visit here. Staff were more than helpful and able to accommodate at short notice. The only problem I have with this hotel is the car parking which is full nearly every night.
