To many undesirables staying here running around all hours of the night bashing on doors use to be great place

There is a lot of negative things I could say but, in whole they need someone who is financially invested in the business rather than watching videos on line, smoking, drinking and tonics and ignoring guests.

Nice, quiet clean room, secure parking for our car, 2 mins walk and enjoyed the Katherine Club for a meal and some atmosphere! Will be our got to place for now on when passing through.

I try to stay at Paraway whenever I stay in Katherine for work, which is often. The location is great, just off the highway when entering town from the north, and walking distance to the main street even in the heat. It is handy for dinner at the Katherine Club next door as well.
The rooms are always clean and cool, and the Executive Rooms boast a coffee machine as well which helps me make a quick start on work days. I have also used the Spa room which not only has a spa bath but it very cool and good for longer stays if you need to spend more time in the room.
Bronwyn and her staff have worked tirelessly through the recent hard years to keep the service and standard high.

Fantastic hospitality - went out of their way to accommodate 4 motorcycle riders on a busy weekend. Nice large rooms, friendly staff and a supurb dinner.

Extremely rude. Rooms were also not very clean. The customer service was very disappointing. Will never stay here again

We were there for 2 nights last weekend, 2 adults and 4 children. Even though there is lack of staff throughout katherine, the rooms were spotless and the gardens were lovely. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again

Hidden gem! From the friendly greeting to the setup and layout, this place is well worth a look if you need a nice comfortable and well optioned place to stay!

Spend two nights in this beautiful place. The manager and her staff are very friendly and do their best to let you enjoy your stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is very good also.
I recommend and probably come back.

Stayed at Paraway Motel in Katherine 22nd and 23rd May, very fortunate to get in. Our room was very spacious with an exceptionally comfortable queen bed. Our room was very clean and well appointed. Air con was awesome and lots of hot water pressure in the showers, originally was going to just stay overnight but after intense travelling for 7 days, we decided that our first nights rest was very welcomed so we decided to stay another night to recharge our batteries.
The Motel is very secure with spa and pool easily accessible and grounds clean and manicured. Definitely recommend this establishment. Bronwyn the owner is a joy to talk to and very helpful and informative with things to do and see in Katherine. Hope to return here on our way back. Lovely place to stay.

Older motel but very clean and comfortable. Secure parking. Has nice restaurant and bar. Close to town. Very accommodating for our special needs with adjoining rooms etc. Would definitely recommend

Close to town rooms are spacious and theirs safe parking the only downfall was the beds were a bit to hard

Sorry guys, but i think the rooms are a little expensive for what they are. Had salt and pepper squid there but was not the best, shop bought i feel. 6/10

Stayed yhere many times over the years great service always clean there is no other better place to stay in Katherine

Love the old building and darkly lit outside. However, the rooms need a little work and decor hasn't been updated in years. Stone Grill is great though.

Had the worst experience ever staying here last night. Right from poor service at check in being left waiting for ten minutes after the check in staff mumbled be back in a minute to be given keys to the two rooms advising one up stairs one downstairs, we had totally different bed configuration requests no problems sorted with giving us another room. Was no direction to where the rooms were nor where to park the cars even that there was parking which we did find ourselves. The worst of our stay came this morning when cleaning staff entered the room at 8.30 knocking as entering then a string of sorry sorry sorry as they retreated. Do not disturb sign then put on door (as we heard him do this to two other rooms) so showers could be had only for the cleaner to again enter the room whilst partially dressed, yelled at him with shock again string of sorry to then hearing them say she very angry she will go to reception, which we did rather angry advised what happened for reception to advise cleaners told them it happened but sign said to make up room! Told them of disgust with service and how wrong the cleaning staff acted, also advised would put formal complaint in was told by reception that management would need to be advised then. Walked out even more angry calmed down went back in to check out requested management advised not there until two pm. No oppology and no follow up from management. Apart from these issues room was clean, provided microwave and toaster. The bathroom was very nicely tiled but shower floor was dangerously slippery no good for elderly. Beds very hard and pillows clean but badly need to be replaced.

Not many choice around. The owner seems grumpy but maybe its his style or the way he communicate with his guest.room was small but sufficient for me. Clean and has air con. You need it

The room is a basic motel room and fine for it's purpose. Locationis very good.
The restaurant has a pretty good pub food menu at slightly inflated prices for katherine however the service is atrocious. Forgotten meals, wrong meals and repeated requests to be served along with clueless staff made it a very unsatisfactory experience. Go across the road to the rsl would be my advice.
When our meals eventually arrived they were great, pity about the wait of more than an hour.
