Palmerston Water Park reviews
50 Really nice area, great set-up for kids and families.
Would be nice if the kiosk was open though.
Great toddler pool and loved the slide. Might be a bit ambitious for younger kids though. Lifeguards are very attentive.
Wow this park was great fun for the family, and surprisingly not very busy. Thank you to all the lifeguards who were caring and super attentive.
My first time at the park. Was there for my granddaughters birthday and with the water pools and the slides that grand kids loved it.
A fabulous water park to take the kids with shallow pool and a tiny slide for the little kids to the huge water slide for the big kids! Lots of fun for the whole family.
Great little water park with plentyofshade. But just a note there was no cafe open. But other than that, it was a good day.
This is a free waterpark. Heaps of shade and grassy areas for families. I as an adult with no kids went there only to use the huge waterslide, which was so fun and cooled me off on an extremely hot day. It’s a big walk up the stairs, the view is amazing and the staff were so nice and explained how to go down the slide. It’s free. It’s fun and I would go back again.
Not for peeps that want to hang in an actual pool.
Went here with the 3yo and she absolutely loved it. As a place with free entry, it was lovely to have a splash around in fresh water. The features may be basic but the kids love it ️
Has a waterside and kids play area. If it had a place for laps or adults to swim it would be 5 stars.
Closed Mon-Tues. What a great park. Free and suitable for kids 6 and under apart from the big slide you need to be 110cm. Brilliant. Kiosk is closed permanently but there is an underpass to Macca's if desperate.
A beautiful place to spend time, a great place to take your children to. Clean and well maintained good for all age's.
Water features not quite as extensive as pictures online suggested but 2 yr old and 5 yr old loved it. 5 yr old was just big enough to go on the large slide and wanted to go again and again. Slide requires mats and there weren't many of them, plus some were not in good shape. So more waiting than necessary but still not too long. Toilets could do with a clean and Kiosk seems to have closed. Great facility to be able to use for free though!
Great free water park.
We went late afternoon and didn't have to wait to climb the stairs again.
Great place for kids and also adults. At our weekday visit the slide didn't open until 2pm so check before you go.
This place is fantastic! My 4yo & 2yo had a wonderful time playing in the splash park. The grounds are really well maintained and lifeguards are on duty. Plenty of shady areas to set up. Toilet facilities with large change area is very handy. I still can't believe that it's free entry!
Brilliant family friendly park with plenty of shaded seats and outdoor BBQ’s. Slides are great fun for the whole family (we actually had them all to ourselves for a small time). Well worth a visit for some free fun family time.
Can't believe that this place is for free! Has 1 big slide along with a water park area which is more suited for the younger kids. Plenty of shade and seating areas. The kiosk was not open which I'm guessing its only open during peak season. There were 3 life guards on duty and they did a great job.
Great place to take the tin lids, enough there to keep the kids occupied and keep track of where they are. Good little function room for parties that is free to use.
Fantastic for young kids. Loads of seating/shady areas. Bring your lunch and spend the day there. The slide is so much fun for an older kid
Clean shaded best for little kids 0-10 and the huge slides for the older kids & adults.no “big” pool though which I don't mind.the deepest is about knee high on an adult with a slide for the little ones as well.loads of bbq area and shade.changing room & toilet facilities but I never used it.no tuck shop so byo picnic only a vending machine with snacks.at about 12: 30pm ish a truck drove into the facility and sold drinks chips & hotdogs but I think is was only a school holidays thing and not something that happened everyday.lots of carpark.about a 500m walk from carpark to the entry.plenty of grass area for running around or even set up a volleyball net.life guards at both kids pool & at the big water slides.
