Outback Tour Services reviews
9Been one two fantastic tours with this company - Kakadu National Park and Uluru & Kings Canyon. Great guides, small groups, very fun experiences. Would book them again!
We thoroughly researched our options when booking this tour and we are glad that we did. OTS (who run tours for Intrepid and Emu Run Experience) were nothing short of fantastic end to end from Audrey and Luke answering our pressing questions ahead of our trip to the legendary guide Kieran who made this trip a wonderful memory for us.
The transport was excellent with an air conditioned bus which was spacious as we had around 11 on our group. It was a mixture of ages from couples celebrating their 35th anniversary, to a family from France and travellers between 25-35.
The camp experience was upgraded for us which meant we had twin share tents (which we’d paid for the upgrade / well worth doing so!) but had beds and linens in good quality tents. The campsites were in good condition on both nights with hot showers and a kitchen.
The walks were fantastic where we started early at sunrise each day and Kieran helped us to understand the spiritual importance of the sites and took us to multiple vantage points to see sunsets and take pictures.
We were vegetarians so we are very pleased we had been catered for. We had a mixture of vegetarian burgers, hot dogs, halloumi, wraps, curries on the tour. Breakfast was also cereal, toast and juice. It was a great experience working together to cook food for our cookouts.
We had a couple of emergencies on tour and they were handled very well by Kieran. My wife had burned her hand significantly when using the BBQ and he had a decent medical aid and had ice and bandages. I also fell ill with sickness on the last day and he had supported with hydration salts and also preparing a site tent in another location for the morning walk so I could rest and recovery before the long journey back to Alice Springs.
Honestly, without Kieran this wouldn’t have been half as fun and were incredibly grateful for him and OTS to make this a memorable experience for us. Thanks once again! We highly recommend this tour for those considering.
We had the best time with Matt on our 3 day camping tour, which was the highlight of Australia for us. He also made sure that everyone brought 3 litres of water on the hikes. Also a shoutout to Peter for preparing our food and making our bed, so we could relax after the hikes and the early mornings. We absolutely loved every minute of it!
Great day down to Palm Valley. Thanks Harry, you are a great and knowledgable guide. Cheers, Keith
We went on a 3 day tour (Uluru to Alice Springs camping). Olivia and Cooper (our guides) were fantastic and made our trip. We were in a group of 15-19 people, perfectly manageable, and we really appreciated having two guides (driver guide and a camp manager) which made the whole trip very smooth and allowed for very good meals to be prepared while we were out sightseeing. Very respectful to the local communities which is always good to see. Fully recommended.
An exceptional end to end customer experience! I cannot thank Danielle and Ross enough! Thoroughly recommended!
I cannot thank Robyn and Graham enough for their amazing customer service. Emails were prompt, information abundant even down to the silly questions asked. Very professional yet friendly and welcoming. Robyn thank you so much for everything and Graham it was an absolute pleasure you were an awesome driver/tour guide. Can't recommend this Company enough and can't wait come back.
As a couple this is not the organization to choose. Our equipment was not complete, the key didn’t work at any of the locations and you get a tent in the area reserved for groups, not in the camping area with the other travellers. The outback is a must on your Bucket list but as a couple not with this organization. @travelessence - please find An other partner
We (with 2 kids) had a wonderful time during the 3-day Uluru and Kings Canyon tour. Be prepared to hike and opt for the swag to get a unique outback experience!
