Nitmiluk Gorge Caravan Park

Great park with beautiful pool. Amenities currently being updated, camp kitchen was average but new one being built October 2023 so should be better soon.

Pool was refreshing after the hot days exploring, amenities need an update for the cost but whole family enjoyed our stay

Great location next to gorge. Lot’s of walks nearby and the river cruise departure. Large nice shaded pool. Booked an extra night because it’s so relaxing

Has been the worst place we have stayed in the NT in 6weeks. Workers flying up and down past the campsites at all hours like they own the place with chains rattling on the dog cage.
Camp kitchen didn't have hot water or plugs.
Was $62 a night, The sites where very uneven also. Spoke to reception who just said it's the outback so expect all of the above. Not one to right reviews but was trying to see the good in it after the few issues.

Way too expensive for what you get which is filthy bathrooms and no sleep thanks to back packers who party until 2am in the staff accommodation. Literally the only reason people go to caravan parks is for a shower and a quiet/safe place to sleep for the night, when you don’t get either what is the point. Would have had a better time joining the vans who park in the back streets of the industrial area of Katherine for free camping. At least it’s quiet there!

Great spot to stay. Power and water and also nice tent areas. Amenities are clean as well
Be aware there is no a dump point in this park, so you need to empty at Katherine

Great campsite with facilities, hot/cold shower, kitchen, washing machine and clean bathroom and toilet.
We're camping at the unpower site and there was plenty of room.

Good park with clean toilets & showers. Close & an easy walk to the Gorge cruise and look-out.
The best pool for kids, especially when traveling in November.

Perfect place for exploring Nitmiluk. Definitely get into a canoe and explore. You see a bit more up close

Very nice park with great swimming pool. Amenities were clean and no issues. The only problem here is there is no onsite presence. We were in the powered sites as it was very hot. The sites are quite small. Because there is no oversight some selfish people took 2 sites and others played loud music. I think for the price you pay the least they could provide is a caretaker/guide. The restaurant in the caravan park was closed. However the restaurant in the visitor’s centre was open and the food looked good although we didn’t try it. The staff in the restaurant and giving advice in the visitor centre were enthusiastic and helpful. The boat tours are a must particularly because it is so hot. Second time we have stayed and we really enjoyed it.

Lovely campground and a great pool, good facilities. Most powered sites are small and on gravel, we chose to go unpowered even though we'd paid for power, much nicer sites. The sites aren't allocated and many are unmarked which seems weird, too much potential for conflict. No onsite presence.

Basically a sausage factory to push as many people through to rake in the dollars.
Not impressed.
I gave one extra star because of the pool area.

A great place to camp w excellent amenities and such a friendly place. Restaurant in the tourism centre was amazing and more than reasonable prices when you look at where you are! Will be back for sure!

It's been over ten years between visits and Nitmiluk retains its magic. It has an imformative
visitors centre with enthusiastic staff all keen to have a yak.

Beautiful place with well kept grounds. Lovely pool area. I feel the management might need to offer some guidance to the cleaning staff. The amenities are good but very neglected as far as cleaning goes.

Stayed a week ago. At $58 per night for a powered site dearest place in NT since we have been here. Facilitys not up to standard for the price. Very disappointing. Only plus close to river tours. Think this is why they think they can get away with it. Stay in Katherine and drive out.

Beautiful campsite, large pool, clean showers and basic camp kitchen but with what was necessary, it had a refrigerator.

What an amazing place I did the sunset River cruise up the Gorge it was amazing great scenery & them meal was great. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and courteous would definitely recommend this trip

The power kept going out. The water went off. No communication from the office. Not the best place.
Good location base for visiting Nitmiluk

We stayed here while exploring the region. A very good park with excellent facilities and just a walk to the gorge cruise boats for a stunning cruise through the Katherine gorges.
