Good views of the mountain and that of the rock formation to your right (when viewing the mountain, turn about 90 degrees) to view the crocodile.
Nice spot to see the views. Clean. Only worth a 15 minute stop. Nice place for lunch otherwise.
A quiet lookout that's less than a minute off Larapinta Drive. Super views of the surround gorges and of the Finke River. Tip: good place any time of the day, but is superb for a postcard-ready sunrise snap.
Make sure to bring your fly spray with you. You need to re-use it every half an hour. Out back is very hot and dry. They are looking for moisture from your eyes, ears, noise and your skin. AND YOUR MOUTH.
Beautiful lookout with the view of Mt Sonder and the section of the Finke river called Finke river 2 Miles. Read and learn from the signs under the shelter and take a gorgeous picture. Excellent location for artists too that will paint the landscape. The lookout is just 2 minutes drive from Glen Helen, can't be missed.
Great lookout. You don't have to get out of the car if you don't want to. Some good river camping below also if you don't mind getting off road a little. The road to the look out is good for any car
