Campsite bare uneven earth. Only one prefab bathroom block and one camp kitchen. Wallabies around the campsite. Pool is tiny. Restaurant caters for builders staying in accommodation- basic buffet. Not recommended.

A must stop when passing through. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Rooms/cabins are very comfortable.

No obvious way to turn on lighting in the camp kitchen. Pool was lovely. When we went out for a drive and left our cloth camp chair to indicate which spot we'd reserved, we returned to find the chair soaked. Obviously on automatic timer with no prior checking. Thank goodness we weren't sitting in the spot playing cards!
Otherwise a wonderful if expensive spot to stay. Food was good value.

Family friendly and plenty of room for the kids to play. The bouncing pillow was a real hit. The camp kitchen had some issues where some of the hot plates were not working, however we brought our own BBQ and stove at our camp so it didn't impact us. Internet Wi-fi is available close to the main building. Great for people that like to go for a walk and explore.

Amazing place, especially the staff that has been wonderful and more than welcoming and understanding. We made a mistake and they made everything easy for us. Place like this are becoming rarer. Thank you again for everything.

Definitely gone downhill since it was taken over by Breezes, which is a shame as its always been a fave. Staff seem unhappy and are grumpy/rude. Seems to be very low occupancy for the dry season to.

Attempted to call multiple times through out the week with no answer. Arrived Saturday around lunch time with the expectation of having a feed for dinner, the kitchen was closed (on Territory day). Was advised after paying the hefty $53 for an unpowered site to eat at the Bark Hut.after reconsidering I attempted to get a refund but there was no manger on site. I told the staff member that I would be back the following day when passing through to collect my refund. The following day there was still no manager and left my details to call.no attempts have been made to call.

Stayed at the Bark Hut for $32 POWERED and had a great time with amazing staff and excellent facilities.

Will not recommend staying at this over priced, under staffed run down facility.

Powered sites are $63!
It was way too expensive.
The bamboo walk is poorly marked and requires maintenance.

Paid for a poolside cabin at a hefty cost considering there is only a TV, queen bed, ensuite, fridge and a kettle. After checking in was told that the Bistro was not open so we travelled back and forth to the place we should have stayed at, Corroboree Roadhouse, to get a feed and good hospitality. The second day came back from a cruise to find no water and when enquired was advised that it should be back on soon, 2 hours later still nothing and when going back to reception it's shut and the phone number to call was in the office with noone to answer it. Stay at the Roadhouse people.

Relaxing park, loved the swimming pool to escape the Northern Territory heat.
Super convenient being close to Kakadu and Darwin, would stay again!

Great getaway. We had the place to ourselves for a week. Kids loved the new jumping pillow.
New owners are also installing TV's in the cabins and a new starlink service to provide WiFi to guests.

I had a lovely 3 night stay in a Safari Tent with my boyfriend. It was nice to be outside and fully experience what the NT has to offer. The facilities and amenities were also very easy to access. I will 100% be coming back to visit and next time stay in one of their awesome Houseboats!

Amazing place with amazing staff. We took a University Field Course here with 32 students and 6 staff, and we were catered for very well. Facilities were excellent, rooms were comfortable with airconditioning. The food by chef John was excellent. The sites of nature were also a real hit, with many species of frogs. Bruce, the manager bent over backwards to help our group. We will come back next year, and will be looking forward to it. If you want a quality holiday or research trip in the Northern Territory this is the place to come.

Brilliant place, we love taking our students up here in wet season. Bruce and the team welcomed us and made our stay an absolute joy. Special mention to John and the kitchen crew, the food was magnificent. Great location with wonderful Top End wildlife right on site.

New management at this park is fantastic. The grounds and expansive lawns are watered and well maintained. Bungalow accomodation was fantastic with glamping/camping/caravan sites if you want options. Pools clean and service from all staff was excellent. Great chef with fantastic function and dining room. Croc spotting and fishing at your doorstep and houseboats also available at their Corroboree Lagoon site. We had 10 days of absolute relaxation and fun

Wow! All I can say. Recomending Mary River to all my friends n family, and I have already booked to return to check out the Corroberee Houseboats. Lots of wildlife. It was a great retreat for my husband and I to unwind from a very busy 2022. Air con and clean pool were definitely the highlight, gr8 facilities for relaxing in the beautiful area. Staff are also very friendly, it exceeded my expectations: D

We visited This resort last week. We were not staying but just checking it out.
It was lovely, has new management who were delightful and working very hard to get it up and running. I hope it will be up and running to full capacity very soon.
The managers deserve every success and we wish you well.

Don’t waste your territory voucher or your hard earned money here.
This place is a rip off.
Should be condemned and named and shamed.
Don’t be fooled by the photoshopped amazing photos, this place is a dive.
Mark the manager and receptionist was rude.
Basically told me and my pregnant girlfriend that we looked like people who would smash up a room, when I questioned why they needed my credit card details again.
On arrival of a 3 day stay, I was told all activities bar the boat hire was closed down due to a “tornado” 2 weeks prior. Thanks for the heads up the day before when I called but you waited until my arrival to advise that all you activities were closed.
Bush walking tracks were closed off,
Buggies not available.
Hire Boats looked underpowered and not even close to sea worthy so after exploring everything on offer within 5 minutes we retired to our room full of spider webs.

At the restaurant that I was advised (by Mark the bully receptionist) the food was that amazing and that people come in from far and wide to eat and we needed to book a table or risk missing out.
On arrival it was a ghost town, 3/15 tables occupied.
1.5 hours after ordering
Served rotten putrid seafood that was in-edible and I wouldn’t serve to my dogs. It was labeled fresh/local on the menu.
Then recanted to fresh frozen.
Told that I was wrong and food was amazing.
And my personal preference was to blame.
Even though I’ve eaten crustaceans in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and 1 of the party of 4 was a marine biologist our uncultured taste buds were deemed at fault.
Table behind us actually got up and walked over to ask us and asked if we were eating rotten food.
No refund on food. As till system doesn't do refunds it will be refunded to the room I’ve already pre paid for
Customer service was disgraceful.
Decided we should cook our own food for the rest of the stay, on arrival to the camp kitchen the state of the kitchen was atrocious.
Bird quano on the tables, dust and bugs all over the sink, tables and appliances.
The sign that read cleaned every morning was even filthy and a funnier joke other than charging $220 per night in the off season.
Best part of the trip was leaving this wretched place.
Wish I had of stayed at bark hut, which had amazing food and even better customer service.
Please do not bring your friends or family here to the rip off Mary River wildlife wilderness retreat.
Save your hard earned money and go somewhere else.if I was the owner I would be furious that my front of house was harassing and patronising guests.

Gardner dude was kool as, had great local knowledge and very friendly.

Never will I return, or will I recommend this place.

Still waiting for my refund for the rotten seafood and worst NT a experience ever
0/5

The place was clean, and the food
was fantastic. The best dinner we ate during our Kakadu holiday.
