Mary River National Park reviews
14 Fascinating river the water is soooo green. Nice to sit and enjoy. Not close to the water though! Croc wise is wise.
Beautiful piece of country. Country.
Do not take your dog here cross can smell them for miles. They are vulnerable near this water or any in the NT.
You'll need a four wheel drive during the wet season as the dirt road once you leave the Arnhem highway can become boggy. There are some decent pot holes so be wary. It's a great fishing spot for barra if you don't have a boat. But it's croc country, so be wary and extremely careful. I counted 9 the day these photos were taken.
Just missed the tour boat so hired a dingy (you only need driver's licence) and did a self guided tour. Bird life is abundant.
Nobody else here. Great views over the wetlands. Would have made a great spot for a lunch break if we had the time to chill for a bit.
A truly amazing eco system that has amazing bird life, both salt & fresh water crocodiles, fauna & flora that is so unique to the Northern territory
Did a very informative cruise here. Good guide afternoon cruise water on board. Lots of wildlife sighted during the cruise.
Love seeing the quintessential Northern Territory scrub. Unfortunately, while we were there, there'd been recent fires. Thought they were all put out (as we saw no emergency services) but then came across this along Rock Hole Road.
What a great unspoiled park. We went 4x4 driving. Spotted a few animals. Dingo was our favourite. So much bird life. Great camping and fishing.
Beautiful sunset cruise. Amazing photo opportunities. Informative and entertaining tour guide! Definitely recommend!:)
Lovely place to get up close to nature. We went to Hardy lagoon. Saw lots of native wildlife here. No other people around. Good access road. Can camp down there too.
Great spot. Camping sites well set up with tables and chairs and fireplace.and for us at Couzens Lookout we had a great view of the flood plains and all that go with it. Downside, mozzies after dusk so plan to eat early and go inside.
Easy Walk with a wonderful viewing platform, Rangers maintain this well with clean facilities and obstacle free paths. Great for the family
We hired a house boat and toured the whole river. Fantastic plenty of crocs and birds. Corroberee house boats or Mary river house boats well worth it
Sunset cruise was excellent. Plenty of wildlife and stunning views. Great and knowledgeable commentary with a spash of humour. Well worth it.
