Marlow Lagoon Pet Park reviews
36Love taking my dogs for walks here. Nice paths and plenty of grass area for the dogs to roam and have a sniff.
Very nice and relaxing dogs can run free and swim. Some shadie spots to read a book or play with the dogs.
This park is a wonderful place for dogs nice shady spots all dogs are v friendly. I'm sure the dogs would say "doggy heaven "
Our little dog had a great time greeting new puppy friends and racing around. The larger dog section had a water-filled trench as a cooling off station. It would have been good to have one for the little dogs as well.
This should be the gold star standard for all parks with a doggy lagoon and huge water trough for thirsty dogs on hot days. Well done!
It's a great place for pets and kids especially! Love it! Only problem is that the toilets don't open
Great park to take your pooches to run and interact with other K-9’s. We have been bringing our 8 month Labrador here for 4 months now. He has graduated from the small enclosure to the Big doggy park.
What an amazing dog park. So spacious and a number of different fenced off zones to suit different doggo types such as small dogs, playful dogs etc.great spot.
It's been a couple of years since I've been, and I was blown away by the upgrades. It's really good having all the separate areas, upgraded entrances/exits.
Possible areas for improvement would be improved drainage solutions around entries/exits and the carpark, a little maintenance to the gates connecting the main park from the original solo area, and some more man-made or tree given shade.
Huge area with quite a few trees for shade. Massive open areas for running around, a few different enclosures for keeping dogs contained, a water trough, lake and even a BBQ.
No handy (human) toilets, but otherwise a great spot for dogs.
Great dog park with 3 separate areas for different size dogs. It's a shame that owners dont pick up after their dogs when doggy bags are supplied.
Great to see so many fenced off areas for different sized dogs and dogs of different levels of socialisation.
Must be The Best Dog Park in Oz! Fenced area for little dogs, fenced area with lots of obstacles for bigger dogs. Acres of 'off leash' area for a run. And a HUGE lake for a swim.
A 'must visit' for any caring human to take their pooch.
Best dog park in darwin and probably all of australia. Massive area for fun. Lake for swimming n cooling off. Gets nice n muddy in the wet for extra fun times. Currently being upgraded to be more awesome. Has area for little dogs, area for old/grumpy dogs, exercise equipment. Marlow lagoon has all facilities for a day out (bbqs, toilets, sitting areas) all round nice place to bring your furry friend. Friendly happy locals also a plus.
Have travelled for 2 years with our doberman and this park is far and away the best we have ever seen
Darwin you are so lucky!
Looked good as I walked though it. Plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Not sure how they would go if they went near the lagoon unattended (there could be crocs in the lagoon). They could be croc bait huhaha lol
Good day at the park.
Clean, green and HOT.
Croc trap in the water right near where the dogs play. Be mindful of ya pooch and they're whereabouts.
One for the experience we had trying to have lunch while certain other people were around causing problems. Beautiful spot otherwise
Really liked it except.for the loud mouthed and obnoxious indigenous brothers and sisters swearing, threatening, getting drunk and fighting. AND who was the council official responsible for unlocking the public toilets in the morning and locking them up again in the evening? Thanks MATE! You had one job and stuffed that up; we had to drive all the way into Palmerston to find a public toilet.
The park is a great place to take your dog to my dog always comes home pretty happy after being to the park where she's concerned it's got it all she can swim run for miles and gets to socialise with other dogs and breeds Ive not experienced any problems with anyone else's dogs as yet where violence is concerned all in all a good park to visit
