Mad Snake Cafe

It's what I wish my bedroom looked like as a young kid in the 80s. Awesome to sit and reminisce while having an expertly made coffee. And they do a lot for the local community.

No doubt the best coffee in Darwin although inside is a bit musty. But coffee will not disappoint.

Great Cafe with a wide scattering of games, memorabilia and posters from the 80s and 90s. Nice coffee and light lunch options like toasted wraps. Friendly staff and generally just very chilled and nice to sit at their tables or couches.

On holidays and stopped by for coffee, was welcomed by a large group of veteran's having morning tea and was given a delicious cupcake by the organiser.

No idea what the place was walking in but was very surprised by the collection of games. Burnt through a bunch of time waiting for our plane playing boardgames and drinking coffee.

What an awesome coffee shop. Great coffee. Heaps of geeky paraphernalia adorn the walls. Board games cards, etc. And comfortable furniture to hide away from the world for a few minutes. Absolute Gem!

Interesting place but I would be disappointed if it was the best coffee in Darwin. It is always a surprise when You order a latte and are asked if you want it in a cup or a mug. Lattes should be served in a glass. The real test of a good latte is the barista’s ability to “silk” the milk. This barista in this case did not pass the test.

Discovered this place one evening when talked to the owner who was watering the flora. Turned up next morning and wow! Unique experience. Friendly and retro setting. Went back every day for the rest of holiday in Darwin. You won't be disappointed if you visit.

One unique place to visit and plenty of things to look at or play game. The coffee was excellent and service was extremely helpful.

This place is the best cafe in Darwin. Awesome iced chocs, great people, 80s pop culture, retro video gaming and plenty of memorabilia. Love it.

Staff are lovely and service great quality hot drinks. Each time I've been here, the drinks have tasted great and aren't overly hot. Great service overall.

Sam makes terrific coffee, his breakfast wraps are super delicious, and the decor will bring back pop culture memories of your youth no matter what decade you were born in! Mad Snake Cafe is definitely with a visit if you are in Darwin.

Hands down the best coffee I have had in Darwin. The staff who work there are friendly, remember our order after two visits, and are always a pleasure to chat to. I love their selection of board games and the effort the owner puts into hosting games nights

The owner is very friendly. I love the chicken wrap, it is is really tasty and fresh. The coffee is also very good.

Nice strong smooth coffee. Eclectic memorabilia to browse through while you you wait, a real hidden gem!

Very trendy little cafe, nice food and drinks, owner is passionate about offering more to the people of darwin

We visited this cafe the first morning of our holiday and have been going back every morning since, from what we have seen they offer a Vegan bagel or wrap and a salad. They are all delicious and unexpected. THE CHEESE MELTS The cafe itself is chill and worth visiting. We had coffee/ hot chocolates and both were the best we've had since staying in Darwin.
