Litchfield Park Adventures reviews
38Dan is an excellent tour guide. He knows heaps about nature and tells you stuff you don’t usually know. He engages very well, and remembers the entire groups’ names, as well as knows a few secret swimming holes far from the madding crowd.
Dan was a fantastic guide. So much knowledge, even the kids were engaged throughout the whole trip! Great sense of humor and fabulous locations.
Had an absolutely beautiful day out with Dan leading the way. The knowledge on the man is enough to publish a series of books whilst also being a very approachable and funny guy. We were shown a secluded waterfall as well which we had to ourselves. I highly recommend booking a tour if you visit Darwin it'll definitely be a bloody good time.
Our first time visiting Darwin and the Northern Territory and we are so happy that we booked the full day tour to see Berry Springs and Lichfield National Park! We were at many swimming holes before other people arrived, so got to enjoy complete serenity. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area, history, wildlife, native bush food and medicine (everything really!). Super interesting! We never felt rushed at all and it was nice being in a smaller group. Plenty of time to walk around and swim with multiple stops throughout Lichfield about ~45min / 1hr each. Lunch was great and a cold beer at the Butterfly Park on the way back to town went down very well. Thank you so much for a great tour!
Dan was such an amazing guide. His knowledge was incredible and made sure everyone stayed involved. Really made the tour very enjoyable. The sights were incredible!
Dan a great tour guide with plenty of local knowledge to share! Great value, small group that gets places before crowds, lots of swimming time and plenty of laughs along the way. Photos don't do justice at all! A real top end must do!
We had a wonderful day with Dan as our tour guide. Dan is a genuinely nice fellow & is passionate about the outback. He pointed out the different types of vegetation, termite moulds & all sorts of different attractions describing the history of each. We swam in Florence Falls, Wangi Falls & Buley Rocks.
Guarantee you will have a great & memorable day.
We did two day trips with Dan and thoroughly enjoyed both. Dan is very knowledgeable about local flora and fauna and is an excellent guide. Would definitely recommend his tours to everyone
A great choice to take the Litchfield National Park tour with Dan. My wife and I had a very enjoyable experience day tour, our first time in to Top End Darwin! Dan is a very experienced, informative and caring Aussie tour guide. He shared with us a lot of local knowledge and culture. He took care all his guests very well.
What an amazing day!
Dan is a very informative and personable guide!
This tour is the best we have done in the NT! And we have done a lot! (Including Uluru and Kakadu). It is suitable for all ages. A very memorable day for us, that if it wasn’t for the COVID border restrictions we might never have experienced!
Great day out,
Dan was fantastic full of experience and enthusiasm, would highly recommend this tour for a fun day out in the NT.
We had a great day. It was brilliant to be in a small group with really nice fellow holiday makers. Yvonne was the best tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and made the day very special. I would highly recommend this tour.
Kerrie, Tyra, Isobel
Had an excellent time today with Yvonne. She was a pleasure to be around and was super knowledgeable.who knew termites were so interesting? !
Small group size, good length of time at locations, good lunch, fun and knowledgeable guide. Butterfly farm was certainly unusual to say the least.
Only suggestion would be a morning tea (juice, tea, biscuits). Pick up around 7am and lunch not until 1.30pm meant we were pretty ravenous, but didn't take away from the day.
Had two fabulous days out with two different guides who were very passionate about their jobs and certainly made everything fun and personable. Highly recommend and well priced too. Def not to be missed!
If I could give a million stars, I would. Yvonne was an AMAZING tour guide. From moment one until the end, she delighted our family with her positive attitude, great sense of humour, and endless knowledge of history, plants, and the areas we traveled. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable. A lifetime of memories were made.
Recommend highly!
Awesome tour, super knowledgeable on all the flora and fauna. Also knew the best spots with the least people. A+

If you need a tour guide to show the amazing and stunning beauty of nature, I would highly recommend Dan. Very friendly and excellent service. Litchfield nature park is one of the best places to see when you’re in NT. The best part is not only seeing one spot but 5 spots to enjoy in the area:
Florence Falls
Wangi Falls
Magnetic Termite Mounds
Buley Rockhole
Lost City
Definitely not our last visit. My little one loves the Buley Rockhole so much.
