Some of the finest dining in the whole region! A nice homely feel and fantastic flavourful food! I swear their entrees are almost Michelin Star quality - definitely the best in the NT and the mains are so good, hearty, big serves and well presented. Good ranges of beers, wines and spirits and nice sunset dining and very quiet. Always have a delightful time here and totally recommend.

The owners are delightful, the food is sensational and the setting is wonderful. My wife and I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ve been on the road for 2 months now and this was the best restaurant by far. This is compared to a number of resorts.
We can’t recommend it highly enough.
Don’t think of eating anywhere else in Katherine

We went here after reading a review in Escape in the Herald Sun in Melbourne, and it lived up to the great review and good reputation. The menu was sophisticated, the food was top quality, the staff were attentive, the wine list was reasonable (nothing amazing) and the setting was gorgeous. The restaurant itself is simple and non pretentious which is perfect for area. I had read some reviews saying it was expensive so came in expecting the worse - it is not cheap, though only slightly more than most pubs meals nowadays and notably better experience. Highly recommend if you want a decent meal, no I’ll rephrase, a very good meal and great night in Katherine.

Food was great, service was great. Apart from the bugs, we chose to sit outside, it was a good experience. Will do again.

This is a must visit in Katherine. Great location and great food for reasonable price. Could be better with 3 elements (protein, vegs and carbo) rather than just 2, but otherwise it's an amazing place.
There is a small area where they sell glass jewellery and soap. Very well presented.

OMG, this place is amazing. Ive never been taken to outta space with so much flavours. This place is Katherine's best kept secret. The service is amazing, so helpful, so nice, and mature. (not like the other place i visited last night.court restaurant)
The atmosphere wow, a unreal place to hold weddings with ferry lights every where, ish load of dragon fly's zooming past you, sun set that u only see in books, and the lilly pilly pond filled with pink and purple flowers WOW.
Try the croc dumplings, the pumpkin with lemon grass, and top it of with the wattle seed desert.and the chef, well can i tell you that he is the nicest guy you could come across.we had the best longest yarn with him.i tell you now, if you dont come here while you visit this beautiful country then you are doing the biggest unjust to your self.press like if you agree to this review.thank u guys for topping of a awesome week, much love to your amazing 10 out of 10 restaurant

Food was good. Not a fan of table service but that is just me. A few opinions shared by the staff that wasn't invited but all in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Had to do an early Christmas dinner for my amazing staff and Kumbidgee, as always, made the evening a special night. Delicious food, great service and beautiful setting. Thank You!

Tables were very duty been on the main road and tables should have been wiped down before setting tables for the night

Highly recommeneded. Beautiful setting and such a wonderful hidden gem. Service was above and beyond. The food was delicious, best whiskey sour ever however l would not order the wattle seed creme brulee again. There is a lovely unique backstory you can read about while dining.

Incredible dining to complete a perfect tour. Sunset helicopter ride over Katherine's Gorge with drinks and nibbles before drop off on grounds of restaurant. Class act. Delicious food. Well priced and hospitable owners. Excellent selections for all diets.
Katherine Helicopter Tours pilots were awesome too.
A definite must do in Katherine. Not a cheap package but bucket list stuff. Just do it.

Great atmosphere especially for those who have kids, only issue is the old grumpy and rude waitress. The young ones are fantastic but one has to wonder why the middle aged woman is on the floor with such bad manners.

Just reopened for 2022, and still a great dining experience.

Dined this evening with extended family. Have travelled extensively overseas and around Australia over the past 5 years (Covid permitting) and this experience was one of the best that i have had during that period. The service was excellent and matched the food. The rib eye steak i had was cooked to perfection. From the crusted lamb, the melt in your mouth barramundi to the fall off the bone pork ribs, there was simply nothing to fault from our group. Do yourself a favour if staying over in Katherine and take the short drive out the road to Kumbidgee Restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice location, beautiful gardens and wonderful live contemporary jazz music on. However disappointingly the service was lacking and the beef was over cooked through to brown even though I asked for medium rare ribeye.
