Kulata Academy Cafe reviews
57Loved my Iced Chocolate! Was an actual proper one with all the trimmings! So good I went back for another as well as delicious good. Popular place, and like that by buying here, supports the learning of the staff/students in training. Service was good also.
Service is so-so. Expensive for what it is as they’ve got a captive market. It’s hard to get excited about Yulara.
Coffee & pastries perfect. Cafe immaculate. Great energy from the staff. What a great learning environment for the academy trainees! One of the many reasons we extended our stay at the resort.
Ate here a couple days ago and the food is decent I really enjoyed the almond croissants but the milkshakes weren't the best they were pretty stingy with the chocolate I could barely taste the chocolate it just tasted like milk with a tiny bit of chocolate. But other than that I think the workers were like robots none of them smiled or seemed happy except one worker. Who was so happy and bubbly her name was Mikaela she was such a kind hearted person who was so kind to me. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure the customer was happy. Thank you so much Mikaela!
KULATA REVIEW!
the three days of holidaying with my wife and I were bliss. Visiting the Ayers Rock Resort was amazing and an once in a life time dream. The staff at kulata cafe were amazing but one went above and beyond for us. Her name was Kiara, she was bubbly, bright and helpful when we asked for any recommendations. She had excellent customer service and her coffees were delicious! Even though she is in training, she shows maturity in her work and I hope to see her succeed in the completion of her traineeship. Hopefully I get to see her when we next visit!
Really loved coming here for breakfast! The staff are the friendliest out of the whole resort! Keep up the great work everyone:)
I came here every morning left my group breakfast at Sails.for week to enjoy the best staff service.divine coffee and haloumi tosty.a total treat sitting outside in sun receive such quality hospitality.well done Kulata
Great expierance. I learned a lot about dot painting and it was great to be told by the aboriginal artist. Plus you can buy beautiful art in great price from the artist directly.
I had one of the best take-away croissants in a long time. It was fresh and flaky, reasonably priced considering what some cafes in similar touristy spots charge. The young woman serving me was friendly and efficient.
Yesterday morning we had breakfast here and was very impressed. The bacon, egg and brie toasted sandwich was so delicious. The coffee and hot chocolate we had was also great. Anyone staying at the Ayers Rock Resort need to put the Kulata Academy Cafe on there must try list. Service by the staff was excellent. Thank you all for the lovely service and yummy food.
Sorry. No 5 star review. Staff robotic and disinterested. No "engagement". First on your morning Cafe check-list is to ensure all the tables are level, missing feet and adjusters replaced and the chairs do not have dried remnants of yesterday's offerings stuck to them. My coffee slid and nearly fell off my table. My coffee was very good. You, in these times, must hold "lactose free" milk as an option. My almond croissant was rock hard, a couple of days old, dry as the desert both ends. Staff wiping down tables, especially in a pandemic, must use a clean rag, plenty of disinfectant, and wipe the entire table top and edges, not a haphazard "she'll be right mate! ". I did not complain as the Supervisor on duty appeared to many issues going on.
Always great to support Indigenous trainees on the road to success.
Great customer service, good food.
These guys learn the skills.of running a cafe and witht the exiglass because of covid it is a bit hard for them to hear so please be patient with them. Very responsive prices.
The staff here are lovely and all have great customer service. We really love their coffee and come back every morning.
Amazing concept, we were very happy with the food and even more with the kind, friendly and helpful staff. Most affordable place in Yulara, we came every day.
Reasonably priced considering the isolated location. Fresh quality and tasty food and snacks. Excellent staff and great customer service. Most importantly, excellent coffee!
We were very impressed by the staffs level of customer service. All staff were very helpful. Meals were a little bit pricey but we're happy to support an awesome initiative!
Lovely accommodating service! Asked for an iced chai which was not on the menu but after a trial, they made a good one. & I went back for another:) Great cause to support.
Great place to get a coffee here.
It’s a training facility for indigenous people I believe.
Great to support the locals.
Such a great place. The best customer service I’ve experienced in NT! The employees are just lovely. And the coffee is amazing.
