9 Awesome servo and store, with adjoined mechanical workshop.
Just about buy anything from fishing gear, fresh fruit veg, mechanical, clothing electrical, just a ripper shop and awesome owners
The shop is really good, well stocked.
However you need a boat to enjoy a long stay. Beautuful river, no swimming. If you could hire out the River Boat for a day, that would have been perfect for us, a group of 4 adults.
Met with Jamie in the workshop, fantastic guy. The service station is also great, a one stop shop for everything you'd need in King Ash Bay

Seemed to have everything you'd need in the store and I thought the price of fuel was very reasonable considering its remoteness. Very friendly lady in the shop.

Great place, groped bar has really good meals. Toilet and showers fantastic. Good laundromat. Can get a bit dusty in camp, need to watch out for the ants! Been going there for over 30 years now. Good fishing.
If you are lucky enough to get a prime spot it would be ok but otherwise you are off down the track with high river banks and pickles.
It gets invaded by rude and ignorant grey nomads from down south that think they own the place.
