Kalidonis Village

After a short misunderstanding at check-in, we found this family run apartments really amazing. Like the zorba, we found that things get better and better the longer you stay. The hosts were very accommodating to my elderly parents in a disability access suite, there wasn't anything that Kat and the team didn't do for them.

Only gripes: Wish they had a bit of shade for the pool and I really wish they would convert their booking and management system to a known "motel" type computer systems. Not excel.

When I booked this I thought it was Kalymnos, it isn't. I was really looking forward to the sponges.

We liked the Tavern attached to the hotel, food was absolutely delicious. However our room was unfortunately very dirty and smelled like mould so we had stuffed noses and headaches in the mornings also the communal smoking area was on the other side of out two windows so the fresh air coming in wasn’t very fresh

Do not stay here, management is rude and don't care about anything. I stayed for 3 nights and informed them that the shower was broken straight away to which they told me would be fixed but never happen. I had to call them over 25 times before they would pick up! To then be told to call another number as it was her time off. NO one is ever at reception.
Just don't WASTE your money
The City Garden Apartments is way better and the management is very helpful

Stayed one night only but you could definitely stay longer. Room had a kettle, toaster and microwave as well as full size fridge /frezer. There's also a pool, sunloungers. There's a Greek restaurant right next door but we didn't have time. Room was clean had aircon TV. Close to city even by foot. Free Parking on site.

Tavern was great.rooms not so much, power outlets and toilet roll holder falling out of the wall, used towels still hanging in the closet and a dirty nappy under the bed.

Decent accommodation and pleasant staff. Only complaint would be the heavy doors which bang at all hours with people coming and going through the echoey hallway.

Well we booked here because of the positve reviews. Disappointed small rooms minimal amenities. Noisey especially 10.00ish when staff finishing up from Taverna at night. We had two below par meals at Taverna. Missed comfortable chairs to relax in. Only kitchen chairs provided in rooms. Not recommended.

We stayed at Kalidonis village about 4 weeks ago, the staff were very helpful in every way the room and bathroom, were very clean and tidy, we had a meal while we were there and the food was great and reasonable, the village made our holliday so much better, great place to relax and enjoy darwin once again thankyou for all your help

Friendly staff. Rooms are new, clean bright and airy. Greek restraunt next door with 10% discount

Very clean, reasonably quiet, centrally located with mini kitchenette. Great value for money! Would definitely recommend.

NO breakfast included. Nothing but an expensive glamour #backpackers accommodation. #Expensiverooms but Clean, sterile, and bed is comfortable. Secure. No information or mention about check-out time. Small for family. About up to 700meters walk to city centre. Better options out there.
