Don't miss a chance to eat here. Two bloody great lumps of beautiful barra in the lightest, crispest batter, which, when we asked, the chef told us the ingredients of. (Go ask him yourself.). Staff comfortable in their own skins made us comfortable too. And the sticky date pud has ruined me for life. Moist, flavourful, never had one that goes close.

Ordered the Bungo burger. The size is decent. However, the meat patty is dry and tasteless. The burger overall is very salty and the rum sauce is too strong. Can't recommend the foods here from my experience unfortunately

Great find on our way to Kakadu. Best burger that I have had in years (visiting from USA). Everyone loved their meal.

Staff are very friendly, i had the barramundi which was average, other meals looked fine, main complaint is our friends had almost finished their meal before we got ours even though ordered at the same time, was nearly an hour's wait for our food

The best food we have had on our travels. You can tell the Chef cares about what he plates up. Fantastic!

The chef is talented and serves fresh, delicious meals in a friendly tavern.
Do not hesitate to stop and enjoy the excellent food.
Home made pasta, risotto, fresh fish, and tender, juicy steak, to mention a few.
Oh, and the lemon tart was amazing.

We had lunch here two days in a row and had the best food both times. The chef is a keeper and the owner really cares about the business and client satisfaction. Must stop here! Highly recommend! Wish I had photos but we smashed the food too quickly They have delicious vegetarian options, you wouldn't believe it!

Best pub and food in the 'doo. Well, it's true! Great food, cold beer, outside area and aircon. Brilliant stop coming in from Arnhem land after a long hungry thirsty drive on the bumpy road.

Best pub grub on our trip so far! The homemade pie was genuinely homemade and tasted it! The chips were superb and not too many. The wife had buffalo and chilli bangers and creamy mash, quality snags, great gravy, and a generous amount. Topped off with some great Beer on tap, fresh clean lines made for the perfect beer.

Very lovey staff, food was delicious except the pizza had a bit too much olives on it (was the only complain)

I was here 30 plus years ago and it was a famous pub, lm here now and the famous pubs been cleaned up and porkies put in.

Many times now served cold or stale burger buns dry steak etc

Country service with only being an hour from town. Food was good, service was great. Pokies went hard. Happily head back again if in the area

Great place for a feed! Beers are cold & the outdoor area is nice. Drive through as well. What more can you ask for!?

Can't fault the HDT great friendly service, food was quick and fresh. Had the Steak Sanga which was a monster. Tasted great and cooked to perfection.

Ordered beef schnitzel 2021-12-18 dinner, good size meal but was obviously cooked in a hurry and on high heat, over-cooked burnt, hence crunchy like a dark biscuit and tough as leather. That's not how schnitzel's are cooked.have photo to show.

Great service and amazing food. My husband had the Thai Beef Salad and said it was the best he had, My son had the Chicken Schnitzel and said it was in his top 5, I just chose to drink the beer which was ice cold. Great place, we will be back. Staff are really friendly.
