Humpty Doo and Rural Area Golf Club

Lovely rural community club. Excellent services. Great beer and food available. You can take food away, it is phenomenally good.
There is a large, covered area outside and facilities for kids to play, whilst still in view of parents.
The staff are friendly and willing to help, should you need it.

We have joined for the 6 weeks we are here in Humpty Doo. 9 hole course with grass greens and good fairways.

Not happy with food service we asked it to be all together got garlic bread and the entreee last serviced cold no flu&& given by waitress won’t be back and the beer price must be most expensive in Australia $7.80 for mid strength

I love Golf Club. We are coming to here almost 5 years. Always nice food, chilling and good, kindness stuff. Good place to celebrate. I did celebrate here my birthday was awesome.

The Golfy is back. It’s been up and down over the years but it’s up at the moment. Been multiple times this year after over a years break. Sometimes ignored while standing at the ordering station. Bar staff mustn’t be trained in ordering. Playground is great!

Disappointing food with only the steak and curry enjoyed, pasta dishes were not finished, too salty, oysters overcooked and tasteless, and other basics like fish and fish or parmigiana were barely ok-ish. Very noisy environment despite hardly anyone in the room, probably due to the room being smaller after refurbishment. The most unpleasant was the heat inside, with no air con just a few fans, we would notvhave felt any hotter sitting outside. The young waitress struggled to put on a smile, however the lady from the bar was lovely. Been there many times but will wait a while before going back.

I had a great steak here tonight. Absolutely loved the pepper sauce!

Sensational tasty choices the oysters natural so succulent we ordered another 12 and the Mongolian beef non sizzle extraordinary sauce WOW! And steak cooked beyond perfection we even ate every grain of rice. Exceptional and many thanks to the Rusty Iron.

Very nice meal and atmosphere. Trivia night Wednesday which was fun, but couldn't quite hear all the questions. Curlew walking about was entertaining too.

What a gem of a place, locals very welcoming, felt like I'd lived there forever after 2 rounds. Course is tricky & very enjoyable. Love this place

Disappointed with lunch. Wasn't busy and took a long time to get meal. Have been there few years ago and was exceptional.

Must admit, it's a Lovely setting but haven't Eaten here yet, for only one main reason.
It's Bloody COLD in the Outdoor area.
The outdoor Ceiling Fans! There's a bank of 24 of them running along the outside seating area and they can only go Flat Knacker or Off! No Speed Control whatsoever.
During the Dry Season, at around 5-6pm, it's actually uncomfortable, ie: COLD.
I noticed about 12 people sitting in the Casual Area and one person about 25m away in the dining area.
I asked if they could be turned down, obviously not as there's no Controller, and when they turned them off, the staff then turned them back on 3 mins later as the One Person 25-30m away asked them back on. I requested that may she be asked to move 3 metres to the next table where the 2nd bank of fans, going Flat Knacker, as there were 12 obviously cold people still enjoying a drink at 7pm.
A few of these people suggested to their partners that they should Go, due to being COLD, which they and my group of 3 also did.
They missed out on a lot of business because of the FANs, and One Person

Awesome place to go for a golf.
They just did not have enough balls for the driving range.
Other than that, staff were friednly and all good.

I found the meal very average and the chicken was dry my partner didn't like her food either we left the plates basically full. We ate inside and had to fight flies as we ate.entree was left on the table for about 20 minutes. All in all not a great expierence we wont be back

Best Reef and Beef in Australia - real, large prawns, scallops & calamari on your choice of steak.

Absolutely delicious food, the Hospo staff were incredibly sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend. The place isn't flash but everyone looked to be having a great time.

Whadda great place! My 1st visit was New Year's eve, great helpful staff, great meals, excellent settings, well kept secret! It's out now!

Virgin golfer as a golfer I make a wonderful golf cart driver.
Was easy cheap wholesome fun.
Would 100 percent do it again.

Great atmosphere, good food and cold beer. Great place for a quick nine holes or dinner with the family.
