Hot springs bathing area reviews
11Crystal clear water, very warm, so less refreshing in the warmer months. Had a bad smell in the area, perhaps due to all the decaying plants and leaves around the sides.
Such a beautiful spot for a swim, dont forget your snorkel and goggles as its a hole new world under the water. Absolutely incredible.
Beautiful.lots of people but still worth it. Grey nomads complaining about logs in the river was the only let down
Bitten Springs the water is so warm the current isn't too bad bring a pool noodle if you are not a strong swimmer.
Short walk from the public parking. Plenty of public access to the water. The water was amazingly warm, but be careful of lowlight.bitey bugs are out.
Great bathing experience! I preferred it over the other springs as it’s less busy and more natural. The springs take you around a narrow path to the end of the bathing area for you to jump out and walk to the start again. The current is quite strong and the water quite deep so do not go if you aren’t a capable swimmer. Gorgeous blue water and the water averages around 33 degrees.
Bitter Spring thermal pool is very popular and has crystal clear warm water that is flowing so you can enter water and float or swim down river to the exit point.
This place is so beautiful. When you drive in a d look at the water, it looks yuk. But as soon as you get to the springs, wow, what a difference. So crystal clear a d a gentle current to take you along. Pool noodles or some sort of small flotation device is best. There are steps to get out at the end, and then a cement path to do it over again. Water is warm but not hot like a Thermal pool. Surrounded by PM's. It is way better that the man made one's in water parks. Where else would you occasionally get some slime as well brushing up against you.
Water was warm. Floated for about half an hour. If you don't like slime then pass.water was clear but bit smelly!
Beautiful spot with pristine water, felt a little nervous being there in the wet season but still enjoyed a swim
