HiWay Inn Motel

Have been staying here since 97 when I am in the big smoke. Good clean basic rooms, good meals, great air con, excellent staff.

I can see why I had only one cockroach here, they did not find it suitable to stay for long either.if you do intend to book, bring your own mattres! I had the circles of thes prings on my back!

The price may be budget, but the customer service is premium. The staff bent over backwards for our convenience. That service alone was money well spent.

We stayed at the Hi Way Inn three times over the past month and would recommend it, the first night we arrived late and the only room available was Room 1 which has disabled facilities, this room is well designed and everything is within reach from wheelchair height with lots of room, we had a dog who had plenty of room to sleep on the deck, we also had a nice sitting area on the deck, the staff had left the key in the room for our late arrival, however we had arrived a little bit earlier than planned and had a lovely welcome from the French girl on the bar, (sorry I've forgotten your name), she made us the best G & T's! The second time we stayed we were in Room 2, again this room was good with everything that we needed, the third time we stayed in Room 32 and this was brilliant, huge room and bathroom with everything that we needed. Again plenty of room to sit out on the deck and for our dog. We would stay here again, great staff, good food, fantastic bar service and spotless rooms and grounds. Morag and Ali MacLennan

Brilliant budget accommodation, super close to the airport. Clean and tidy rooms! Great, friendly service! Definitely grab breakfast in the morning!

A group of us needed somewhere comfortable to rest that's close to the airport, and we're so happy we found this place. Just a quick cab ride from the airport, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent too.

Double booked our room. We booked first. Promptly came and kicked us out to put in a regular. Threw our money back at us and said too bad so sad. Worst customer service EVER

Horrible Service. Bathrooms look like they belong in a prison. Don't expect room service. Expect to be double booked and kicked out at any moment.

We got there after midnight and the staff was really friendly! Everything looks a bit older, but it is a very good value

3 just because the person i dealt with was nice. The room was small, the toilet ran all the time, the bathroom tap tap leaked. Good aircon in the room though. Was quiet and had a clean pool.

After mistakenly booking a Transit Room (no bathroom and very third world", I was offered an upgrade $20 for which I was very grateful. Good motel style room but be very careful of slippery floors in the walk through bathrooms. Good meals. Close to the Winnelle Hotel, which is a good Darwin Worker Watering Hole.

This place is run down, neglected and a complete dive. The staff are rude and very unprofessional. The manager even came to our door with his fly down and his genitals visible. It needs to be bulldozed.

The HiWay inn has that classic Territory charm, targeted more rowards the FiFo croud the facilities are old and worn but well maintained and well laced out of town. The meals are great and the rooms are air-conditioned, what more could you need?

Wonderful staff, they couldn't do enough for me. Good value accommodation, great meals. It is in an industrial area so no food shops close by.

Basic but extremely comfortable and relaxed accommodation. Excellent breakfasts and home cooked food available in the evening. The standard of service was exceptional with every member of staff being genuinely warm, friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend here and would definitely return!
