Hideaway Litchfield reviews
17Good coffee and a great place to check out the cabins and offerings.would hardly know it was there tucked away off the main road.a neighbour in the Litchfield Safari camp told me about it and I was not disappointed.worth a visit
We stayed in the huts with our 2YO. Loved out stay. Great facilities. Close to beautiful waterfalls and swimming spots. Very welcoming hosts. Would highly recommend.
We loved our quick trip to Hideaway so much, we stayed in Cascades and it was heaven! Loved our visit from Pete the dog who kept us company for breakfast and had the most relaxing time. We are looking forward to visiting again for longer too. Thank you Roger and Viv, what you have created is magic!
Tranquil off grid luxury. Very accommodating hosts. Perfect location to explore Litchfield’s waterfalls.
Living our best Tropical lives while staying in Cabin three for a couple of nights. A fantastic way to explore Litchfield NP. Upon arrival and entering the clean and quiet cabin we were blown away. Nice big shower with great hot water, comfy bed and with lovely linen. The place had everything that we needed. Bbq, fridge, toaster and microwave and some DVDs to relax to at the end of the day. The massive window by the bed let us see some of the nocturnal night-life of darting around in the top of the trees. Hosts were amazing, friendly and helpful.
We recently had the most amazing 3 night stay at Hideaway Litchfield NP. Viv greeted us and directed us to our little hideaway. These guys have done an amazing job in presenting their off grid containers.
Everything was perfect. Comfy bed and excellent shower.
Nestled close by to beautiful waterfalls you are able to avoid the crowds by visiting the falls early in the morning and and later on in the afternoon and have a relax back at the accommodation with a nanna nap during the afternoon LOL.
Highly recommend you stay with these guys when you visit Litchfield NP. You won't be disappointed.
Was a great location. We booked via booking.com which advertised sofa beds. We had two cabins for a birthday log stay over a couple nights. On arrival there were no sofa beds and we had to ask for mattresses for the floor which was a little disappointing. The owners were obliging enough and seemed surprised we were expecting them. If your there and it’s wet be super careful of the decking it’s like ice when wet. Was a little awkward when leaving that we were “perused” and asked for another $50 a person we didn’t tell them was staying, which in many messages we clearly did. Anyway, that all aside it’s in a great strategic location for exploring all Litchfield has to offer. The cabins were clean and very well presented. The provided bug spray and citronella coils were very effective for an evening on the deck.
What a beautiful place to stay. It's extremely comfortable and so quiet that you can hear your self breathe.
A perfect hideaway built from innovative use of two containers. Very welcoming hosts and a great location for checking out Litchfield attractions. We visited in July and would love to return during the ‘wet’.
Absolutely stunning!
This highly sort after abode is close to all the popular waterfalls and offers all the luxury comforts while being surrounded buy the privacy of bush. The hosts are Exceptional, it’s a beautiful retreat they have put a lot of thought and detail into.
Love this place! Eco-luxury in Litchfield National Park, close to all the sites. The owners are friendly and happy to help with any requests. Will definitely be back.
Such a gorgeous to stay in Litchfield.
Good cooking utilities, films and tv provided. Nice shower. Brilliantly designed.
Would highly recommend.
Shower could of been higher is my only (tiny) improvement.
Stay here if you can.
Very nice place out in the bush, very accommodating hosts.
Fair few mozzie n bugs at night if the place is lit up, better low light with few lights on.
Not too far from all the waterfalls /swimming holes in Litchfield Nat. Park.
Stunning yet luxurious comfortable with best location ever! We loved everything about this place and every moment spent there. We’ll definitely be back?
My partner and I were lucky enough to score a two night break at Hideaway Litchfield in the Cabin 2 (June 2020) - Glamping in Style all the way!
It was such an amazing place we didn't leave the property the whole time.
The lovely hosts, Viv and Rog, were so welcoming and helpful. The birdlife was unbelievable and the Nightsky was the Highlight of our stay.the Stars were out of this World!
The accommodation has everything you need, except of course your meals and your drinks! Breakfast was supplied, as were some local treats mmmm mango ice cream - everything was of the highest quality and clean.
We definitely will be back, this place was beyond our expectations!
- Thanks Viv and Rog for your hospitality! Cheers Kylie and Pete
Love loved loved this place. We had the most amazing time here, falling asleep under the stars with the sounds of nature. The owners are lovely, the bed was lovely (helped by the quality mattress) and I can’t recommend it more.
Very friendly hosts and a beautiful hideaway. The internet connection was good and I was able to stream Netflix without buffering.
The complementary insect repellent burner, bacon, eggs, milk and array of fancy teas, was a thoughtful touch. A bit pricey, but that's to be expected in the top end.
We will definitely be back!
