Good food and pricing. Good friendly service. The facilities are in real need of renovations.

Interesting place, great staff, but the facilities are tired and need some TLC. Appreciated the free drink that was included.

The best T-Bone steak ive ever had! Friendly service. Loved the pet emu. It's not a 5 star resort by any means, but met the required needs and had a pool which was a bonus! I definetly recommend!

1.8.22 we stayed at the Heart break caravan park absolutely loved it. Simon was a top bloke kept the grounds beautiful nice bloke to chat to. The trees are beautiful there everything about the park we could not fault the staff were helpful in every way the pool was beautiful to relax in and kept clean I woul recommend this lovely oasis to anyone travelling WELL DONE EVERYONE EVERYONE

What a beautiful place to stay for a couple of nights! Refreshing swimming pool to have a dip in while watching all the animals walk around.

The staff is superfriendly and helpful and the food is just outstanding! The portions are very big, but you still have to finish it because it is so good.

Thank you so much, we will be back!

As previously stated, it's gone downhill from my last visit 12 months ago.
Toilets blocked, Showers " first time ive worn thongs in the shower"

$30 for a powered site with good water. Grassy sites with plenty of shade. Sprinklers were on when we arrived but I simply moved one out of the way so we could park in a preferred spot. Clean UC pool. Book-in was simple if not over friendly by the young lass. You're in a customer service industry, learn to smile. We did not eat at the restaurant but the prices seemed reasonable, yet there was not much of a menu. Amenities block was very basic. The wandering small herd of cattle were not bothersome, but only added to the feeling of being in the "outback". The cow pats were expected as such.

Nice, modern motel style rooms, though a few maintenance issues showing, as the new owners struggle to get staff

Staff have a "take it or leave it" attitude. They don't respond to emails and have an attitude that customers are a nuisance.

Communications here are a problem, unless you have an Optus account.

Despite the shortcomings, we have stayed here a few times and have had a great time.

We tried the food at the restaurant and it was bad. You can’t eat your own food there even if you camped there. The female manager will walk around and tell people to get off if they do picnic on the grass. Campsite full of bats at night, hard to sleep with the noise and the next morning need to wash off bat’s poo. Quite a miserable place as suggested in the name. We went to Borroloola campground and loved it there.

Horrible. Dirty disgusting to what it used to be. Once upon a time there was lovely green grass and caravans campers tents etc everywhere. Now it’s more for road workers. They’ve put in lots of dongers and the showers toilets are shocking. I couldn’t wait to leave. Your better off staying at the park, than on the side of the road - just - but sadly the managers are not very welcoming. I felt I was back in the USA with the attitude they showed us. And I’m one of the easiest persons in the world to get on with. Ex oz army and old Darwinian. So good luck. Maybe they just didn’t like me. Weird.

Popped in for lunch to have a chicken burger. Tasty! Lady at the counter was friendly and the ready to go butter chicken was good too.

A friendly shady oasis. The ' Fish and Chips' are great and the salad is fresh. Rooms are fresh and clean.

Nice spot for a break after the road from Roper Bar. Good food in the bistro. Drinks and fuel are expensive.

Shady, green camp spots, reasonable prices. Bar and restaurant, fuel station and friendly helpful staff.pool.

Nice place nice peaple. Green tidy park great for a rest. Many other grey nomads to talk to an get knowlage regarding travel.

I cannot begin to explain how thankful i am to all the staff at Heartbreak. After being bogged along the highway in the middle of nowhere they offered support and genuine care for me in my situation providing many shoulders to cry on, quick check of my car, company for the night and a comfortable place to stay. I highly reccommend heartbreak to anyone making the trip it is definitely unforgettable whether your car makes it in one piece or not thanks to a place like heartbreak and the people that keep it going.

We stayed in the camping area in our camper (Zoe-89) it was well worth the detour. The Helicopter trip into the "Lost City" formations was so great. Many photo opportunities.
On the page here it is marked, just east of.the formations were very unusual.

Not a nice place to stay. All I was told was negatives. No dogs. No generators. No washing van etc. Arogant caretaker insisted on parking us under low tree branches which scratched the roof of the van. Lots of space but he insisted we kept coming forward even though we objected. Sewerage smell was foul. Worst park I have been it.
