Good Times Bar & Grill reviews
59Fantastic food. Service was amazing. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and their anticipation was A+. Always one step ahead. (You don’t see that much these days). Thank you
Laksa was not really good.
The waitress was in a rush to take our plates and glasses even though it was not empty. She didn't even asked us before taking the glass and plate as we were still having lunch. That's seems bit rude and inappropriate behaviour.
We had dinner booked for my nieces 9 year old birthday. We brought in balloons and a cake however the staff on that day completely went over and above and decorated the table with lights, and other party decorations. To see my nieces face was priceless. A true testament to the amazing service at Good Times. We all found our food delicious and served in a timely manner. The portions were generous. My only constructive feedback would be a bigger selection of wine but in all, this would detract me from coming back. Highly recommended. Thanks again.
We have been here multiple times and on different days and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience, food, staff and atmosphere are always great
Atmosphere is chill. Service is nice, but the wait time for food is pretty awful. Have gone quite a few times and one easy dish always takes 20-30 mins minimum. Pricey for the quality of food as well as size of drinks. When they play karaoke, it can get quite loud and distracting.
The teriyaki chicken was the yummiest I have ever had. And the English waitress was the best greeting us as soon as we walked through the door!
Honestly the outside and menu are very deceiving but the food staff and atmosphere were so delicious and they accommodated for our group of 13 without any notice, Food was also so delicious and all cuisines were great!
Been there years ago for lunch when it was Archies. Food was average then. Now its downright disgusting and Im sick and tired of these places in Darwin that charge an arm and a leg for sh.food. Nasi goreng was fried rice with frozen veggies. Bit rich charging 24D for a dish you get at any eatery for 8D. The korean dish bibimbab was embarrassing. Chef should be ashamed. No kimchi or kejap that brings the flavour. Its one of the easiest dishes in korean kitchen and to mess it up is a special type of inability. So is undercooking chips.the place is also as grotty as maccas in the 90s on a busy Saturday so if you dont want to shower after a pub visit, go somewhere else.
Yes I did tell staff how disgusting the food was but this day and age checking your Facebook takes priority above all. Just a glimps of this gempot of a pub told me enough, which is: no one cares
So to conclude: We went there to check out the new playground. Its safe to say we will never return again. I hope they enjoy the 80 bloody Dollars (!) we left there for dog food
I was looking for a good laksa and was drawn here by reviews. It DID NOT disappoint. Up there with the tastiest I have had and not too hot - chillies on the side to turn up the heat if you choose.
Service was exceptional.
Prices very reasonable.
Well-equipped for families.
A good value-for-money night out.
Good range on the menu. Good prices.
Ask for softdrinks without ice as there is more ice that drink in the cups
Very embarrassing meal out tonight with family visiting from Tasmania. So many flies which we had to keep picking out of our food as they landed. Ended up asking for a takeaway container as it became unbearable trying to eat with them buzzing around. Informed staff who said sorry about that. Not good enough
Seriously amazing food that is reasonably priced, but I've had some pretty bad experiences with the staff members. Left a bad taste in my mouth, unlike the food.
Went for a night out with the partner.
ENTREE.buffalo wings, more like spicy honey drumsticks.
MAINS were even worse. We got two chicken laksa’s. The chicken pieces were too large, had cartilage so you couldn’t chew. The soup was just spicy water. No flavour.
OVERALL: 2/10 do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
The crew here are hands down amazing! The chef never disappoints and the service is always friendly. Thank you team
Good food but there was a number of anti-social people there that should have been removed
This the new pub name, its changed a little, service is good, meals I've only had one so far, It was good a little to much spicy sauce, then I'm getting old, It's a nice atmosphere, staff keep the unwelcome out, has a place for the little ones, in all I'd would recommend it.
We ordered a take-away lunch today (Sunday) …3 dishes, PadThai, Laksa and PhoBo.
The food was ready within 15 minutes, good-sized serves, fresh, presented beautifully (even as a take-away) and tasted devine …every dish! We’re locals and will certainly come again, but also highly recommend to anyone who is looking for superb pub favourites or Asian-inspired cuisine.
Awesome chicken wings, great bibembap. Average pho soup. Bring back the desserts please. Service is good an new fit out is much better. Recommend trying it. One of the better venues to eat in palmerston.
Great food, large meal, service is basically 'get it yourself'. Though staff are pleasant they won't get you a knife or fork to eat your meal.
