Elsey on Parap Serviced Apartments

In great location but Michelle Graham the manager was so so rude and condescending.

If nothing goes wrong, then the stay would be fine. But if it does and you need to deal with Michelle, avoid at all cost.

Excellent accomodation better than many other in Darwin for the price. So conveniently located just across from the Parap Markets.

Elsey apartments are lovely right in the middle of the action - the apartment is modern and perfect for the two of us even comes with a bbq and secure undercroft car parking

Location was excellent and had everything you needed. Would suggest avoiding Room 7 as the air conditioner shuts off at the middle of the night - hope this gets fixed because otherwise room is very hot.

The reason that this is given 1-star is due to how the manager, Michelle Graham, handled our feedback when we checked out. If we did not have any dealings with her, would have given this place a 5-star.

Further details below if anyone wants to continue reading. We provided feedback to her in relation to our disappointing experience upon finding a dirty rag on our pillowcase when we checked in, and our air con stopped working in the middle of the night for our last two nights in a row. Unfortunately, she was defensive, unprofessional and responded with sarcastic comments. She gaslighted us by saying things like, ‘have you never had mistakes happen before? ’ ‘What would you like me to to, it happened at the middle of the night’ ‘we already changed your pillowcases what more do you want’ ‘if you had told me, I would have gotten it fixed. I had no control with the air con breaking’. These comments likened to those of a petulant child, not an experienced manager in a customer facing role.

I honestly think that Michelle just had a bad day that morning since she looks experienced, but still unacceptable given that it is her job to deal with both positive and negative feedback.

Excellent place to stay. Good location. Close to shops and the Parap market. Cool rooms in the hot heat.

Clean and spacious, lots of ceiling fans and air-conditioning to keep us cool. Great proximity to Parap Markets (Saturday mornings) for your laksa and coffee at Laneway Coffee every day was amazing (just across the road in the village). Thank you for having us

Stunning, like a five starr hotel. Fantastic location, pool, so close to great restaurants and markets.

I stayed here for 5 nights. A very nice appartement with all that you need for a great stay plus balcony and Barbie. There is a lovely pool and secure parking. There is a Tavern just down the road and just across, shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Usually the work budget means no frills and even less personality but I have stumbled on a good one this time. With a beautiful one bedroom apartment, balcony and very quiet street Elsey on Parap is lovely. Only issue is that the parking is a tight squeeze for the work landcruiser but that's nothing unusual. Will very definitely have this place at the top of the list in the future.
