Edith Falls Upper Pool reviews
26A small hike to the upper falls but well worth the effort. Beautiful views and lovely swimming.
Quite lovely once you get to the top. There is a fair bit of steep walking to get up there. We managed to take our 5 and 3 year old but it was a bit of a struggle with the youngest.
Beautiful spot, water was cool but lovely and clear, well worth the walk and a great place for a swim and picnic
Edith Falls is a great spot for a swim. It wasn't that busy going on a Saturday. You can swim at the bottom very close to the car park or you can take the 2.6km walk up to the upper pool. It is a bit of an effort but you get some good photo opportunities and the upper pool is nice to swim around.
Hard walk in the heat of the day but we'll worth the reward at the end! Highly recommend!
1hr return walk from car park. Bit of uphill in couple of places, but easily done. Worth visiting.
A great get-away in the dry season, and an easy hike to the swimming hole. The ranger and tuck shop staff are nice and helpful, and the Upper Pools have plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, places to make a picnic, and not a croc in sight.
The upper falls are superior in beauty and I love going there for sunset or reading a book while sitting in the shallows ️
Nice place in Darwin. You can reach to upper rook pool but it is little long hike. You can reach to fall by walking 2.6km. Normally, it is nice place but lot of flies over there.good to bring suitable hat or spray. If you can unable to reach the fall, you can swim bottom of the fall. There are more clean toilets and washroom in enterance.
Worse thing is that, couldn't find any general waste bin over the place.
Spectacular waterfall and pool a welcome site after the hike up from the carpark. Perfect place to cool off!
The hike to the upper pool is not too hard but not something special. The big pool at the bottom might be just enough
A great circular track leading to a lovely swimming spot under a waterfall. Very interesting vegetation along the way and lots of lizards and other animals to spot. Bring enough water, sun screen and bug repellent, and enjoy this beautiful spot.
MUST SEE The upper falls is a 1 km walk from the car park and is amazing, a must see. Bring your swimmers
Lovely place. Well worth a visit. Bit of a drive from Darwin. Worth stopping in the bar (lazy lizard!) in pine creek on the way back. Very Authentic Australia & when we were there they had a French Chef (I know: who'd have thought it) who whipped up a delicious thin crust pizza. (Oddly the French love a good pizza.)
Excellent camp area, grassy flat surface. Well looked after. Hats off to Rangers and the Kiosk staff (Bianca and Tina). Walking tracks are fantastic with awesome views.
Good luck Tina with your painting.prize winning for certain

How good was this. Walk the upper loop track to get to the upper pools which utterly delightful. If keen you can go to the right and continue upstream as far as you like into a selction of your own private pools. When finished continue the loop back to the bottom and go visit the little store for a top quality feed and also support a local business.
Beautiful place, a lot of spots for your car, caravan or tent. $12 per adult for unpowered place.
The lady and the Ranger who were working that day were really nice and friendly.
Well planned and organised, clean toilets, hot showers and drinkable water. Really worth to do the hiking to upon falls and have a swim there, just amazing.
This place is so magical, and the refreshingly cool water will take your mind to a sweet place. Thanks to the original inhabitants who own the land. ️?
