Eastside IGA reviews
14Staff friendly and helpful, but advertised specials are NEVER put up.price dockets are never right
Good selection of everything. Has Cellabration bottle store at rear. Need ID for liquor purchases.
Went to buy mangos but young indigenous women was handling all the mangos on display, pressing her thumb hard into each one leaving large bruises, changing them from first grade to low grade fruit. Between handling the mangos she was rubbing snot from her nose on her hands. She didn’t buy any. I Decided to buy my fruit elsewhere. It would be a really good idea to have staff looking out for and calling out this behaviour.
Wonderful, diverse, eclectic store with all the basics, some incredible occasional bargains, some grocery lines and items you won't find in the green, yellow/red, or blue supermarkets.
And the staff are superb. Ask them anything about the store, but if it's quiet, their life stories are fricken amazing as well.
Look out for the 'end of the vintage' trolleys full of price knock-downs.
Then go outside and if it's before 1pm, grab a coffee and brunch or lunch to your right. If it's later, there's Thai or fish n chips. If it's business hours, the gardening centre has your botanical and adjacent needs met.
Within a block: boxing, netball, bush balms, Indian flavours, or your good old East Side club/pub/sports bar/bistro.
Eastside IGA. It's not just a convenience/grocery store. It's a hub. Love ya guts!
Lol, do not go there you’ll get over charged, it has happened to me twice and had to be fixed. Also they charge an arm and leg for stuff.
Great little local store. Easy in and out. Higher cost than the big supermarkets but often some unique products and good specials.
Verity of Items from different parts of of the world. Friendly staff. Owned local. Supports after school employment. Highly recommend.
Parking for a mobile home quick in and out saved so much time for a quick pickup of a few items.
Has great range of products a deli Eastside is a more affluent part of Alice Springs so a little more expensive than in town but great quality produce and easy to navigate inside with friendly staff.bottle shop next door.
It had a bit of everything. It's a bit dirty sometimes. They are really good at opening more registers when it gets busy.
Yes prices are higher than big supermarkets. As you would expect. Really good range of products specialising in Indian items. Always find staff friendly and helpful. I’m a local and a regular.
Super Nice kind people helping you. Prices a bit more expensive but the service weighs up to it
Great little IGA, friendly staff always willing to help, if they don't stock it they can usually try and get it for you
Lower range available which is expected but very pricey and disinterestef ataff wose than coles which is saying something
