Our first viking funeral.what a fun time. Plenty of delicious food to choose from, face painting, helmets for sale and drinks. The pipers and funeral march to the boat then launching with the finally Archers shooting arrows to set the boat on fire.

I had the pleasure of ordering takeaway food from The Galley Bistro and it was exceptional! The Chilli Mussels, Laksa, and Grilled Jewie were all prepared with meticulous attention to detail. Whether you're a seafood lover or simply seeking a reasonable priced, delicious and satisfying meal, I highly recommend giving these dishes a try. The Galley Bistro has truly impressed me with their flavours, quality, and overall service, and I will definitely be back!

Darwin's best kept secret and one of the few old Darwin places that have remained unmolested

One of Darwin's lesser known locations. Had a lovely meal and good live music to keep us entertained.

A piece of "old Darwin" which has survived virtually unchanged. A great place to relax and enjoy a drink with friends. Live entertainment is provided on a regular basis and supports local and emerging artists. On my last visit, the galley struggled to keep up with the hungry diners but managed to produce some good meals.

This is a fantastic club with nice people and excellent facilities.

Professionally run, great staff and an excellent GM.
Entertainment on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The bistro is not cheap but the food is pretty good. $20 specials during weekdays.
Coin laundry facilities. Easy access to town.

Big shed with lots of tables full of people having a great time! Cold beers, great live music. Food was pretty good, though inconsistent wait times. If you're ordering as separate groups on a table don't expect it all to arrive at the same time!

A nice local spot with live music. If it's busy, however, if would recommend eating elsewhere; unless you have schedule for 1 hour wait times.

Crusty & original.this is a workers place to have a cold beer and some tucker at the end of the day. No frills, here.

Great place to relax with a drink but hit and miss with the meals! I ordered a chicken parmy only to discover that there wasn’t any ham on it, when I questioned the kitchen staff about it they said they forgot to order the ham, probably should let people know this when they order so they can order something else then. Also the napoli sauce on the “Parmy” was just like tinned crushed tomatoes. 3 people at my table order grilled fish (2x threadfin and 1x barra), every fish dish had bones in it, one with about 8 bones in it, it’s completely unacceptable to send out fish with bones in it now days!

Chance of good live music many times a 7day week. Member ship affordable. Drink price good as.quiet out of the way. Nice

Absolutely fantastic, the one man band was the best.we had the place to ourselves due to lock-out, a really relaxing Sunday evening.

If your looking for a taste of the real Darwin. A great spot for a feed relax with a cold drink and listen to local talent as they entertain. It is a members sign in but visitors are welcome. Outdoor undercover pub menu fresh fish daily. We had the Mackerel delicious

Love this gem of a place. Great location, friendly team and locals. Broad range of beverages and food. Lucky to visit on a Sunday night and enjoy a live band. Rustic and unpretentious so authentic, just lived it!
