Darwin Tandoor reviews
73Real Indian Taste with professionalised custmer service. They prepared food according to the taste we like. We really thanks to them provide best service to us.
Its a small, cute, cozy perfect. THE PERFECT PLACE to take you back home and rekindle those desi flavours. Im here in Darwin and temporarily and I keep coming back every other day. Price -great. Quantity- perfect, taste - won't let you feel youre out of Punjab/India. They even adjust the spice levels to your comfort. Its a blessing to have found this place here!
We had Vindaloo, Tika Masala, creamy cottage cheese curry, Biryani and Naan. Asked for hot to medium chill but all were mild to medium (for us) which is why not giving 5 stars. Otherwise delicious.
Lovley family with a warm and welcoming energy. The Daal Makhani with garlic naan bread was delicious and I left with a big smile!
Lovely hidden gem. The service was super friendly. Everything made fresh. Got the chicken biryani and lamb curry and it was to die for! Definitely returning!
Wonderful food and family! Could not recommend highly enough. Great prices and the food is melt in your mouth and tastes amazing!
What an amazing family run restaurant, nothing was impossible and everything had a solution to cater our needs
Good quality food with a spectacular service not to forget the special home made mango pickle
Thank you very much, you guys really are fantastic at what you do.
I can't wait to go back and try some different curries! I had aloo matar and channa masala this time and they were both fantastic.
We had a great experience dining at the Darwin Tandoor. Everything was made fresh and the goat preparation was marvellous. Great service amd highly recommended.

My husband and I shared a delicious dinner at this little gem. Not easy to find as it is down a laneway off Mitchell Street. The food was cooked by the husband and served by his delightful wife and son. The food is all cooked fresh in their tiny kitchen. We can highly recommend this little eatery.
They hit the spot every time! Family run business with welcoming and fast service. & Most importantly Curry to die for. I come here at least once a week! Recommend the Chicken tikka massala or the butter chicken.
Fantastic North Indian cuisine! One of the best in Darwin. Recommended to order the food in advance as most things are freshly prepared.
Simply put, one of the best places to have Indian food in Darwin. Very authentic and great taste. Reminds me of home, every single time!
Excellent food, forwarded onto this place by a friend and it's freaking awesome!
2/7/20-update Last time I had food here it was yum. This time it was freaking amazing the lady who served us was beautiful natured and even gave to some mango chutney to try. The roti DELICIOUS and the Rajma Masala brilliant. My partner had the beef vindal
I love to get my dinner here. The people are always kind and lovely. I believe this is the best Indian food in Australia. My favourite is the shahi paneer. I am not vegetarian but I really love this dish.
The curries come in small boxes but believe me, it is a lot. We always can eat two days from our meals. Also theire naan bread is so nice and fluffy. Very tasty.
I believe the meals are really cheap compare to what you get.
I tried the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. It was amazing taste. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Definitely the best place to dine in Darwin! Dear lady Sukhvin and her family run this small restaurant and their food tastes delicious, very homemade. I actually felt as if I am eating at their home and not at some foreign restaurant. If I have stayed longer in Darwin I would have eaten there every day!
A seriously good taste of India, almost hidden from view. Walk the fifteen metres from Mitchell St and enjoy the experience. It's fabulous food from friendly faces. Go there.
This beautiful family did an amazing job. Flavors were excellent. Lots on the plate. Couldn't get through it all. No inside dining.
