Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters

We felt honoured and lucky to have Paul and Brendan as our guides. Paul greeted us with big smiles and got the fish scaled and gutted for us at the end of the trip. Both of them are accommodating and knowledgeable. Brendan shares some fishing highlights in his socials from time to time.

We had a great time with Dave as our skipper. Lots smaller fish constantly being caught than a few good size Goldie's and a cod. Finished off with a travali for lunch. Then off again to hunt the Barra with Dan. Good afternoon Barra not biting but finished with a goldie at knock off. Fun day good company and weather!

We had a fantastic time out fishing today. Caught lots of different fish. Well worth doing.

Would not recommend this charter for anyone. We were very disappointed with the skipper and to hear the boat wasn’t up to scratch to stay on the fish (no anchor or trolling motor) no one on the charter went home with a fish

Half day fishing. Was nice to get out but spent most of it trying to find a spot/getting into position. I think I would have had the rod in the water for definitely less than two hours in total. Captain had good humour and friendly enough though. Only caught a couple of very small fish and he let one escape when adding fresh water.
Was good to go out but not much rod time.

Spent $1250 for a private charter for my partner, he was picked up 40 mins late. The skipper was foul mouthed, talking about his C***t of an ex wife before they even left the dock. He chain smoked the whole time, coughing and spitting while complained about having to have a covid vaccine to keep working, (he only had 1). The entire time he was talking about extremely offensive topics, like an Aboriginal woman being pulvarised by a street train ect. They didn’t catch anything but a couple of tiny fish, which were sent home to cook, only for us to later research and find out that they were smaller than the legal size. This was confirmed by a local fisherman. They almost hooked a large fish towards the end of the charter, but the time was up (according to the skipper, not taking into account that they started very late). The skipper told my partner to drive the boat back, while he cleaned the boat (my partner does not have experience with driving boats). Very disappointing and unprofessional experience for such an expensive gift. When we complained to the company they told us that they will not take the word of a tourist and that the issue has been closed. They told me that it was my partner's responsibility to keep the skipper in line and tell him to stop talking like that and that he can email them with his complaints. My partner then took the time to also complain to them about his experience and they just ignored him all together. I have never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism from a company. $1250 thrown in the bin.

Spent a full day at Corroboree with this charter. Dave our skipper was extremely experienced and very professional and a decent good guy. Highly recommend this charter & going again with Dave on Friday.

Spent another day with Dav our skipper this time fishing Darwin harbour. Great day bagging out in the first 2hrs with some really good size fish. Highly recommend this character and request Dav for your skipper absolute champion Bloke that knows his stuff

Had an awesome time out Barra fishing and catching plenty of Saratogas along with few other specials out in the billabongs with Dave who was a great guid full of knowledge. Cheers guys will be coming back!

This company is awesome! We had Captain Paul as our guide and he was fantastic! He told great stories and taught me a few things about fishing that I did not know. He knew the perfect spots to fish and we caught a fair few just in a four hour, half day. Would do this tour every time I visit Darwin.

Booked trip to corroboree billabong. Waited an hour at 430 in morning didnt get picked up. Rang owner who not only didnt apologise but was rude, complained about getting out of bed, insinuated it was my fault for not ringing earlier and said " oh well its all good". Not how you treat customers when your at fault. On a good note the lady who took my booking was polite and sent an email later apologising for the mistake, refunded my money and offered a complimentary trip in harbour. Not what i was looking for but

My 7 mates and I had the time of our lives yesterday! Cameron (aka. Buster) was an absolute legend of skipper who we were very lucky to have. We told him that we wanted to catch a shark and he set us up to catch three 3m nurse sharks. We couldn't believe the size of it when we saw it. We will be back to get on board with Cameron very soon. Thanks for a great day mate! If you are going to do a fishing charter, make sure you request Cameron.

Had a terrific half day charter with skipper Paul, who has 30 years' experience of Darwin Harbour (excellent fella), and a great group on the boat. No messing around if they weren't biting on a given spot, we moved on. Plenty of nice fish caught by all on board, culminating with a 23kg Jewfish with the last cast of the morning about 250m offshore. Paul had the keepers filleted for lunch, which was enjoyed at the wharf with a cold beer. Thoroughly recommend Darwin Harbour Fishing Charters.

Had an amazing day out on the water. Paul this morning was brilliant and we hooked a good feed for lunch. The afternoon run with Cam was action packed landing reef fish and a shark at the end of the day. Highly recommended
