Darwin Entertainment Centre reviews
22 Great space and venue.
Would be nice to have some more variety with snacks for events and lowering the prices a bit might actually increase overall profit as people may be inclined to buy more while at the venue.
Attended a conference here. Facilities were good, close to the beach and at the city center.
Here was amazing! All of the service, staff and lots more were very amazing! Would come back again
I love coming here for shows and concerts, its intimate and not as hectic as the Darwin Convention Centre. It's perfect for short performances, and overal a great centre with awesome shows.
There are far to many to count, but I have seen the bands Goanna and The Proclaimers here, I've seen a few comedy shows such as Jimmy Rees, Sooshi Mango, the 2023 Darwin Raw comedy festival, and the Sydney Comeday Festival a while back. Just too many events to remember. I have attached some videos of the mentioned performances. I will continue to add more as I watch more shows!
Darwin Entertainment Centre is the perfect place to have a night out with friends and family.
Dropped down to 1 star as I absolutely hate "cashless " events. People should be allowed a choice.
Basically it means I will not purchase anything whilst at event and will seriously reconsider attending further events at this location

Went to listen to keynote speaker Dr Richard Harry Harris.the Australian anaesthetist who was vital in 2018 rescue of 18 young people aged 11 to 25 from Tham Luang cave in Thailand. Brilliant venue.inspiring speaker
I think Disability access at DEC needs upgrading. One lift is not sufficient. The amount of people lined up to exit the building by the lift was not acceptable. Installation of a second lift is badly needed.
Wow it's got so many good performances there. Carmen was the latest one I've seen and it was amazing!
A really nice, clean and professional venue - I recommend sitting in the top section instead of down the bottom. It's a great view from up there. Park on the Esplanade and it's a short walk.
I saw The Pulse there during the Darwin Festival.
It was an awesome show! Highly recommend.
Gorgeous tiny little venue in the heart of the city about the size of a school theatre once you get in there
One handicapped toilet upstairs doesn't cut it. Some shows are seen by older audiences and the stairs to the public toilets downstairs can prove hard work for some.
After coming down with a horrendous migraine on the day of a show, I requested a refund or a credit and was denied. I am now out of pocket for over $150 with not even a show credit. I understand not refunding change of mind purchases, but I have a legitimate reason, and a Doctors certificate.
They offered no other solutions. Very disappointed in their poor policy. There is no sense of purchase protection, and I will be looking further into the legality of taking money for a service that was not provided!
Attended The Tiwi Islands Performance.
Great theatre. Comfortable, and organised service by staff.
We went to the DSO with their Parade of Animals. As usual they turned out a very good production. The centre itself is as always very relaxed and plenty of staff to cater for all.
They get good acts /shows, and the staff are great and they have added in food as well as drinks, but the place is looking pretty run down, there isn't much leg room and lots of the seating is damaged. Needs a facelift /renovation in the main auditorium.
Great atmosphere for presentations and shows which can be enjoyed by family and friends, the spacious atmosphere is great for any occasion with a cafe present.
Great acoustics and a wonderful performance of A Celtic Christmas by A Taste of Ireland dancers
Darwin entertainment centre is a credit to Australian hospitality and entertainment.
Great venue and variety.
Happy, friendly and knowledgeable staff who care and love to look after their patrons.
Tasteful decor and great service.
