Daly River Riverside Inn reviews
10 As the sun began to set over the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over Daly River, Dave and I settled into our seats on the outdoor patio. The scent of sizzling chicken parmigiana wafted through the air, making my mouth water in anticipation. It was a perfect evening to indulge in our favorite comfort food.
As we chatted and shared stories from the day on the river, the friendly staff brought over two steaming plates of chicken parmigiana, accompanied by a generous heap of fresh salad. The sight alone was enough to make my stomach rumble with excitement. The melty cheese atop the chicken and the rich tomato sauce looked absolutely irresistible.
I picked up my fork and knife, eagerly cutting into the tender chicken. The first bite was a symphony of flavors - the savory chicken, the tangy tomato sauce, and the creamy melted cheese all danced on my taste buds. It was like a culinary masterpiece that made me close my eyes in sheer bliss.
Dave grinned at me as he took his first bite, nodding in agreement. We exchanged a glance of mutual understanding, savoring each mouthful as if it were the most precious thing in the world. The gentle breeze rustled the leaves around us, adding to the sense of serenity and contentment that enveloped the moment.
Between bites, Dave and I continued to share our thoughts and dreams, our laughter blending harmoniously with the ambiance of the Inn. It was more than just a meal; it was a cherished tradition that brought us closer together, a time to reflect on life and celebrate our friendship.
As we finished our meal, feeling satisfyingly full, I leaned back in my chair, looking out at the fading sunlight painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. The world seemed to slow down, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the simple joys in life - like a delicious chicken parmigiana shared with a dear friend at our favorite spot.
And as the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, I realized that it wasn't just about the food; it was about the moments we created, the memories we cherished, and the bonds that grew stronger with each passing day. As we paid the bill and bid farewell to Daly River Inn, I knew that this evening would forever remain etched in my heart as a testament to the beauty of friendship and the power of a good meal.
We called in for lunch on recommendations of fellow travellers. We were staying near by.
The burger and the steak sandwich we can recommend. On par with and exceeding many a metropolitan offering, which is an achievement in such a remote location.
Extremely happy with our cold beers and pink grapefruit gin and tonic.
Please remember it has taken a lot to get the food to his location so of course for your convenience to eat it in such a remote spectacular location there is a premium to pay.
The food was amazing; however, the poor customer service let the experience down. Also, make sure to bring $$ because food is a little on the pricey end.
Cold Jack Daniels and a hot young barmaid serving themgreat night spent playing pool with the locals in an awesome old school country pub.fuel was pricey though at 180 a litre for diesel
Excellent service, friendly staff. I stay there every month and have never had a bad experience.
Very welcoming staff and pretty nice view to the river. Nice place to stay to experience living surrounded by nature.
Not friendly staff, always backpackers, hot chips freshly cooked are always frozen,
Doesn't seem a happy place to work/visit
