Cutta Cutta Caves Nature Park reviews
38 Very friendly and informative tour guides, beautiful caves. We had Darcy as our tour guide and he was lovely, humorous and passionate.
Definitely worth a visit!
Great place to visit during the dry season. A must if your passing through katherine and want to know more about the caves and thermal spring system.
So much beauty, just down the road from Katherine (20 minute drive) right under our noses. Bitumen road the entire way. Best to book ahead. Closed in shoes required for the cave tour. Don't forget water bottle and torch. Excellent commentary from the tour guide.
Highly recommend making time to explore these unique caves and some equally unique history about our serviceman using these caves during WWII. Our guide Jasmine was fantastic.
Fantastic and informative tour of the cave systems around Katherine. Brought to mind the importance of preserving this natural wonders which have taken millions of years to form and are home to many critters. Well worth the time when in Katherine. Great tour for families.
Wow! This place was amazing! Go underground and see the amazing formations over the last millions of years.kids has a ball! Amazing and entertaining tour guide.
An unbelievable place. Guide was quite knowledgeable and likes her job really!
This place should be protected no matter what. My respects to Jawoyn owners of the land.
Really interesting tour, the guide knew lots of really interesting information and lead the tour in a really engaging and funny way!
Absolutely a great ecological experience, Kristy gave an in depth presentation and passionate about her work and loves the environment. 10/10
Must do visit! We were fortunate to have the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Kristy take us through these very interesting caves. Easy drive and walk!
Fantastic
Going under ground one would think it would be cooler than the outside temperature
Not the case, as we ascended inside the temperature increased
The tour itself was very informative and ensiteful by a very passionate tour guide
The cave network has easy walking platforms to wonder on making it an easy walk through (ps - you can not go through without a guide)
You need to prebook, as a couple turned up and could not get on our tour
So suggest to book online for a time that will fit in with your schedules
Well worthy experience on just how these caves where found (will leave it to you to find out when you do the tour)
This tour is highly worthwhile and the guide was very knowledgeable. There are about 20 steps down into the cave and two points in the cave that are a bit narrow but otherwise easy access.
There are lots of information signs to read while you wait and a short nature walk you can take.
There are toilet facilities and a decent amount of parking.
Very knowledgeable tour guides which means safety first when it comes to natures predators (ie: -snakes) so had to cut our tour short but that's nature at it's best
Great experience Ben our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Warm inside the cave as you got deeper into it but no overwhelming water supplied. Make sure you wear enclosed shoes
The one hour guided tour was very enjoyable. Just long enough for me to be 14 metres underground without feeling claustrophobic. The guide gave an informative and entertaining narrative. Great value.
Beautiful caves
Interesting history
Very informative guides
Very hot and humid underground - make sure you have a water bottle
Well worth a visit
Highly recommended
Learnt a lot about the caves which I certainly didn't know before hand. Has a bit of a history behind it and the army boys back in the day. Great guide and she was very informative. Overall a great experience.
I was surprised how interesting this place was. Such a long underground cave. Guided tour was very informative. Would recommend.
Kate, you were fabulous! A down to earth country girl, full of charm, charisma, and a passion for our land and its culture. I adored you and the knowledge you imparted. A relaxing, down to earth guide with plenty of time for questions, which Kate kept reminding folks to ask.
We had a small group this day and that left time to chat about other things and amongst ourselves, too.
It's a low grade walk just under 400 metres to the cave, and the stairs at the entrance is honestly the most challenging part if you struggle. The tight squeezes where the cave narrows are easily negotiable, and I'm a big guy.
Hope that beer went down well Kate. You deserved it. Cheers, mate I do hope to see you around this country again as we both keep travelling. You're a gem!
Nice cave, but disappointed about the price.
27$ for listen to The guide, talking mostly about Tasmania and talking only with the customers coming from Tasmania.
It’s not interesting and not fair if you spend your money there.
I wish the national park recruit some locals guide who love this area and share the local culture, instead of the tour guide we had.
Nice spot but very small walk.
Better to visit the Katherine gorge.
