Corroboree Billabong reviews
21 We did the billabong lunch cruise. A salad box with lots of meat and basic salad. Nothing special but fresh and easily eaten as you float along. Plenty of bird life and of course crocs. Under shade all the time because of the sun being high.
Good cruise. Evan was informative.
It was a great trip and Connie, our guide, was fabulous, very knowledgeable. Birdlife, and crocodiles galore. Highly recommend.thankyou cheers Rebecca and crew)
Great cruise, our guide Evan was fantastic, knowledgeable, informative and funny, The crocks and bird life were amazing, lunch was good and healthy. Highly recommend this Wetland tour
It's a unique Billabong due to the lack of direct oceanic connection of the Mary River. It has plenty of wildlife and is constantly changing sure to water levels
This place is amazing. The wild life and plants are amazing. Great for getting a Barra or just looking.
Allan and Connie at the corroborate wetland cruises were fantastic. Very knowledgeable and the lunch was great and healthy. Highly recommend a visit and tour.
Always a good day out. Lots of crocs and bird life to see. We always take visitors out for a look. Now the road is sealed for the most part it is easily accessible for the dry season.
Fished with Darwin harbour fishing charters barramundi didn't play the Saratoga did. Captain Dave was awesome great day had by all.
This review is not inclusive of any cruise undertaken here, as we only drove here to see what the area looked like. If you're not going on one of the cruises, then it's a long way to come for something nice but not as good as other areas found elsewhere in the area.
Wonderful, as always! Saw 3 Jabirus, lots of eagles & other birds, plus 5 crocs & we were only there for 2 hours. Fantastic.
Beautiful birdlife, more waterlillies than Monet's Garden, jumping barra and big old crocs.also a couple of buffalo decided the middle of the road was a great place to hump.
Simply stunning. First time in Darwin? This is a must. River cruise like no other to see local wildlife.
A place well worth visiting with a wide variety of birds and crocodiles plus various types of snakes when they are around.
Fabulous really enjoyed the commentary very informative. We enjoyed seeing the sights it was cooler and definitely recommend this. Plenty of bird life and crocodiles. Might be a tad nerve wracking with young kids who don’t want to sit still.
We did the 8.45am cruise and found that we were the only passengers (4). Our guide, Webby, was lovely. After the safety brief we headed out onto the billabong. He asked us what we would like to see and accommodated us as best he could. We were after crocodiles and weren't disappointed. The birdlife here is also amazing and every aspect of the billabong was beautiful. Seeing crocs in the wild naturally was on my bucket list and I was so happy to have seen a few, even a little one with is breakfast of a frog in his mouth. I thanked Webby for making me very happy and such a great cruise which was relaxing and peaceful. Would recommend to any and all. Corroboree Billabong Wetland Cruises.
One of the most beautiful places to visit with so much widlife for any time out animal lover.some awesome tours available such as river boat cruises but nothing beats flying over this majestic landscape by helicopter and airboat. A MUST STOP DESTINATION in the NT
A great day, loved it. We booked another day it was that good.
The guides are excellent, they pick you up from your hotel & are the perfect hosts.
Even if you're not really into fishing, this is different. Highly recommended.
Easy day trip out of Darwin, will be great when roadworks are complete (after turning off Arnhem Highway). Billabong is awesome even at lower water levels, so much birdlife and Crocs. We went with Wetland Cruises for two hour sunset cruise. Top value!
Great 2 1/2 hours cruise down Corroboree Billabong, large coldserve lunch & very informative tour guide, spotted lots of Crocs, fresh and salty & many bird spiecies. Highly recommended
