Went in for a Bet and a Beer with a mate.had a win on the dogs and horses and a few quiet beers.excellent couple of hour's.

Terrible experience. The lady taking the orders struggled to understand me. The menu said, ask for more vegan & gluten free options and when I asked, she said, yeah, they're on the menu. I told her NO chips but I'll have mashed potato, which came out in a small bowl with our bruschetta. Then, as we started eating our entree, our main meals came out, mine covered with chips. She asked if something was wrong and I explained that we would like to finish the bruschetta before our mains came out and I specifically said no chips. She said 'oh, sorry' and walked off. The mash was disgusting, it wouldnt even come out of the bowl and it was cold. My medium rare steak was totally pink, only the outside was brown. Kev had to wait ages for a drink and the barman said, it's really busy, we didn't expect this many people. Well, every table in the bistro was reserved so that's at least a couple of hundred people, then walk ins. I don't recommend this place for anything.

Sadly my calamari was cold and like rubber, didn't return as my table mates were nearly finished when I got my dinner. Put my grandchild into "supervised"play area and she is only 4 and let herself out with noone being aware.just glad we spotted her.never will recommend or go there again.

Before you think about going here be prepared for rude service and consider having a small group of people less chances of being disappointed. 3 different occasions we have had a group of 10 plus people and some were members all disappointed in the front desk service. A sign above the reception counter on the TV screen clearly says photo I'd required.
After being knocked back from eating at the bistro because of an invalid licence (mvr give the outdated one back so you can still legally purchase alcohol with photo id) a phone call was made to the management and now the TV screen reads must have valid photo id.
Will never go back due to the management saying that's just what it is.
So you can't eat food without a valid photo id and your picture taken at the door.

Not impressed with chicken schnitzel. Very thin, hard to cut and eat, sauce tasted mushroom not pepper. Lettuce gone off in salad. Standard definately gone down. Not a good meal for wifes birthday.

Was there for lunch. Not very busy. My partner had a fish burger. The fish was not seasend and a bit soggy.

Food is just ok noting to rave about, you can order it as take away aswell, cost is reasonable. It's just your typical community club pokies, plenty of cold beers

Bar service Quick and friendly. Highly recommend the wok night both dishes extremely tasty and huge servings. TBone steak served with chips salad and garlic sauce amazing will definitely be revisiting this place.

If I could rate this less then I 1 I would. It takes 10 minutes to sign in for them to ask for my ID everytime I order a drink…

Booked to attend my grandmother’s 92nd birthday here. 30+ people booked for dinner. On arrival my pregnant wife was refused at the door, as were multiple other family members for the reason:

‘our liquor laws require a physical copy of a drivers license or you can’t enter’.

We requested a manager who was also unfamiliar with liquor licensing requirements who parroted this reason.

The manager was an incredibly rude woman who was rude to the remaining paying guests throughout the evening, demonstrating poor service and the utmost incompetence. She continued to say her liquor requirements require all patrons to provide physical ID and refused photo versions of the same identification, saved to a wallet app, which require government verification.

This is not a requirement in any other restaurant in the country. If this was a club policy, it was not mentioned once during our exchange. We requested proof of this law and policy and she refused and told us to look it up.

Our 92 year old grandmother was not able to see some of her grandchildren for dinner, several of which flew up from interstate for the occasion. Directly, Cazaly’s have lost 20 customer’s business who live locally tonight, and hundreds more due to word of mouth, and hopefully even more from this review.

The way you treat your customers is disgusting, and the way your managers lie to justify their actions is repugnant.

Nothing can be done to change this. If the owners read their reviews, I suggest familiarising your managers with licensing requirements under the liquor act, or at a minimum, simply stating they are refusing service because they want to, instead of lying.

No one attending was consuming alcohol (one of them was pregnant).

I had to convince the remaining guests to stay for dinner so that my Grandmother could still have something for her birthday, although even she required convincing to stay.

Thank you for easily the worst customer service we have received collectively in the history of ever.

Pull your heads in.

Refused entry on a Monday night because I didn't have a physical copy of my ID. A drivers licence and a passport photo loaded on my phone was apparently not sufficient.

I travelled 3000km with the intentions to spend my grandmother's 92 birthday so when I ask if I could just say hi and bye to my grandmother, they lacked empathy by telling me to call her via phone and meet me outside. SHE'S 92 YEARS OLD FFS!

Absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service and empathy from Cazalys. Such a shame that half the family could not share this moment as a whole. I do not recommend.

Had a take away order tonight. The other meals were good. But the dish I ordered tasted like sadness. I Don’t Know what happened when I eat in person. I normally order the steak which is great every time. Staff over the phone have been great. Staff in person are good. If you go in person don’t forget your ID or they won’t let you in if you’re over 18. Just that wonton soup tonight was the taste of sadness. Really let down.

First thing.went inside the bottle shop and asked for a product.the man said “no we don’t serve that here… after looking for it myself I ended up finding it….

Second thing… I Paid for a card just so I could use the bottle shop on a Sunday.the man behind the counter said my card wasn’t reading and I should go get a new one made… went to get a new one made and the lady said there wasn’t anything wrong with the card…. So I walk back to the bottle shop.the bloke behind the counter then says he can’t serve me because HIS card reader was playing up… I was annoyed at this point because he made me walk here and there pointlessly with no form of rectifying the problem… I even asked him to just run the card number and was told to leave…

I wont be using this bottle shop ever again and I will never suggest it to a friend

Darwin is too small place to treat people like this especially when you just wanted a few seltzers for a picnic with my partner…

Food is very ordinary, I got told good things and the food was cold,
Oysters one of them was off
Barra was filth
The pasta was the only exception, the parmi was OK even known it was a small serve.

Service fantastic drinks super cold great selection of meals for anyone real family environment staff super nice and helpful we will be back nice and fresh and clean inside I highly recommend it

Cazaly's is always nice and tidy. The foods are always delicious and well presented. The staff are always wandering around so easy to get their attention. Only problem is the kids playground is not open Monday nights and my kids really wanted to play on the playground. Maybe you could try and have the playground accessible everyday of the week? Other then that Cazaly's is a great place to dine and affordable. Dessert was delicious.
