Need to book for visit on line.
Easy parking.
This historical house is very beautiful. A gate was opened. Only stayed outside as didn't do a booking.

I recently planned and coordinated a wedding at Burnett House. The staff at the National Trust NT are accommodating and easy to work with. The grounds themselves are a beautiful venue to work with from a planner's perspective and would suit couples who love a garden feel. I'm excited to plan future events here.

Lovely walk through Burnett house, a lot of historical information in the house about Darwin, Cyclone Tracy and WW2

Excellent experience about the history of the house and Darwin. The guides (Lucy and Graham) were very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks and keep up the good work

Loved these heritage houses built well with the tropics in mind. The guide was very knowledgeable. I wanted to hear more about the houses and Darwin history but limited time.

A small piece of an earlier Darwin situated between two sister houses. Built in the 30’s I think, these houses are an excellent example of building for a particular climate and not requiring air conditioning.

Despite what the website says - this is not open. Spent a sweltering 20 mins today (Tuesday) to get there and it was firmly locked up!

Worthwhile to visit. Great to have willing volunteers who care and are knowledgeable. Unique building and it was built prior to World War 2.

Makes you realise how much of Darwin has been destroyed by cyclones and developers. Luckily this amazing piece of architecture has been saved. Volunteers give a great tour.

Great history lesson, all info is well set out. House could benefit from more period furniture it's a bit sparse. I had a lovely greeting from the volunteer on duty.

Beautiful old house in Darwin that has survived the war and cyclone Tracey, had a lot of memories from my childhood

I can't believe the history Darwin has. Well worth doing the touristy thing and looking at it all.

Perfect high tea on the lawn on a dry season afternoon. All they need is the World War 2 big band soundtrack.
