The boys were very friendly, and the food was great. Always smiling, which could be difficult given the high volume of customers and residents that congregate here. Well done.

Been to lot of towns through the hole of Australia the Chunky Beef pies the best in this country

One of the best works burgers we've ever had. Delicious seeded buns with lots of salad. Didn't expect the chips but they were well cooked too.

I had a fantastic Apple pie from the bakery today. I'd recommend stopping and grabbing something from the bakery on your way through.
I will also say that I prefer my Bacon and Egg roll (for breakfast) not toasted. The roll was freshly made today, so it didn't need toasting. This is more of a critic of Australian culinary culture than the roadhouse.

Not afraid to sell a crusty old roll to an unsuspecting traveller. Will do it with a smile and some friendly banter. Chips were okay tho.

Pies, Tasted the large steak pie (Mataranka Special) Its the best pie I have eaten in decades. Lots of tasty slow cooked meat and chunky too. Perfect gravy. Its a meal by it self. I have driven from Darwin to Adelaide and back many times and this Road House is the best for food. Sausage rolls are great too.

Nothing better than fresh bread and cream buns in the morning. Beautiful chunky steak pies and sausage rolls. Friendly staff and awesome costumer service. Will come back for sure.

Don't know about the rooms as only got fuel and a feed. The service although they were extremely busy was great. The meat pie was quite ample to fill me up. Diesel price was very fair, $2-05 a litre. Quite reasonable. Very happy with the place, btw there were upteen "locals" there returning from a festival of some sort, all well behaved but the staff there at the BP service centre were extremely busy and everything went well. Patience people goes a long way.

Mataranka Chunky Steak Pie - Best I have had in ages. It was big, the meat was tender and tasty and I was very full from it. The store was bigger than expected and full of all sorts. Was nice to see a bakery in there aswell. The staff were very helpful even though it was extremely busy and they were run off their feet, due to being one of the only places open in town, a pleasant hidden surprise as just looks like a little BP on outside.

We had coffee and cake there, very dirty inside and outside. Coffee was average to say the least

The moment I walked in I wasn't greeted at all so there was no initial customer service, it was just "sign in" which I know to do everywhere and with the current mandate I don't need to be reminded by a rude person. When I ordered I had to remove my mask just so he could hear me and he wasn't making any effort to listen properly. Very unpleasant visit for this Centralia!

Nice place for the duration of stay. The owner give extra service to customer.
I inadvertently left a bag at check out day. Contaning very important stuff that they saved.
When I rang them they sent it to the address where I was going in kuranda.

Beautiful staff and amazing fresh bread and baked goods! Thankyou so much to the lovely lady who made us 4 ham cheese lettuce rolls she even glad wrapped 2 so they would be fresh for lunch you're a gem! Great friendly customer service from everyone! Even bought some great souvenirs! If staying in Mataranka or even passing through don't miss this roadhouse

The bakery is worth the stop. We bought fresh baked items there when we didn't need it. Sausage rolls and doughnuts are to die for. The bread is the best. It goes number 2 on my bakery list. Fuel is at a repectable price.

This fuel stop has a bit of everything. Bakery, cafe groceries and other Nick nacks. Good spot for the traveler. $1.45 for diesel when we were there. All good Jim.

You can get fuel. You can also get a good selection of Fast Food. And considering where this is located, it is a good little general store with lots of surprises as well. From a genuine 'Crocodile' back scratcher to some assorted car parts.

On the Darwin side of town, the roadhouse sells fuel, coffee, ice, bread, cakes and general supplies. You can relax on the verandah with a coffee, if you are so inclined.

A great servo with friendly staff. A good range of food and snacks inside including baked goods. Loved the staff.
