Bough House Restaurant

It’s $60 for 3 courses for adult, $30 for kids and no advertised GF and DF options. There’s no L’ larte options either so we had to leave without ordering. The kids meal was only pasta or pizza, and ice cream which is pricey for young kids

All you can eat breakfast is fantastic! The coffee in a mug tastes great, and I'm fussy with my coffee too.

Had the most wonderful night at the Bough House Resturant and Bar tonight. Buffet food was plentiful and a great selection of entrees and deserts. Yummy food, compliments to the chef. Our waiter - Paul was really lovely and gave us such great service, and only too happy to chat and take photos too. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

A little pricey when your kids are over 6 or you want a barista coffee, but the food was excellent. Hash browns were well received by the kids!

Was unsure which restaurant to go to when visiting Uluṟu. Luckily we chose Bough House restaurant. Food was of a high standard but what made the difference was the professionalism and friendliness of our waiter Paul. He excelled in all areas and made our dining experience exceptional.

Avoid at all cost. The reception manager is really rude. They blame customers for their staff’s misleading communication and negotiate with rude attitude.

The risotto was no good and the chicken was dry and flavorless. The majority of the salad bar was bland too. Other tables around us clearly felt the same way as we could hear them talking about it. The meal would been acceptable and probably got 3 stars if it wasn't so bloody pricey.

The following night we ate at Ilkari and it was amazing. Obviously cost more but I would rather a main at Ilkari than an unenjoyable meal at Bough House.

The entree and dessert buffet had plenty of options and end of the day you won't be leaving hungry. We are at all the dining options throughout the resort and given the high price point of everything due to the resorts remoteness this was our pick for value for money.

We chose Bough House Restaurant because it seemed to have couple of vegan options (actually just one in the main meals menu, plus some of the salads at the salad bar).
Salads looked nice but were unfortunately quite mediocre in taste.
As for the main meal, my mum chose the vegan option, which was a veggie and tofu stir fry in peanut sauce with rice. There was no indication whatsoever of this meal being spicy nor containing spicy ingredients.
My mum is old and doesn't tolerate spicy food, so hasn't been able to eat her meal at all; on top of that, we have been denied to take away said meal, because it was against the "restaurant policy".
So basically my mum spent $50 to eat some very mediocre salad.
The lady at the cash register, when she asked how everything was and we answered we were not very happy, kindly enough gave us a 10% discount. Still I don't think this place should have the reputation it has.
I understand it's in the middle of the desert, but the food quality and taste is not impressive, it wouldn't be a restaurant where you chose to go if it was located in a city, and it's way overpriced (like everything else in Yulara, of course) for what it is.
I'm sorry but I think they can do better.

Excellent quality food and top service. Expensive but u expect that out here. The buffet is great!

We had a lovely meal here. My T Bone steak was perfect. Great assortment of buffet entre, salads, deserts, cheeses. Staff were nice and quick to take away empty plates.

Welcome steak was seasoned perfectly and medium to rare which I enjoyed
Everything else on plate was so full of flavour, service is exceptional and the vibe is nice too. Looking forward to my next meal there actually.

Excellent service and food - especially for the remote location. Large variety of food, excellent buffet. Breakfast was particularly good.

Bad reviews don’t know why? For the location and price it’s incredible. Literally, in the middle of australia and you can eat fresh and well made food.

Really good meal, service was excellent. Lacks a bit of atmosphere but we were eating early due to an early start the next day.

Plenty of food in the buffet for entry. My main dish roast from the spit is just ok. My wife ordered pork rib which is very tasty. And the service is good.

Very impressed. Buffet included soup, salads, veggies, pasta/noodle/rice salads, amazing desserts, cheese platter and tea/coffee. Spit roast was delicious, we had the pork and it came with lovely roast potatoes and hot veggies. Lovely staff, nice atmosphere. $48 very reasonably priced considering the cost of other restaurants in the area. Difficult to find, it is right at the back of the Outback pioneer restaurant, hidden around the corner near the toilets.

Parmi night was delicious. Great food with entree and dessert from the buffet. Wait staff a bit slow for service however friendly and helpful.
