Bottlemart Express - Malak Supermarket

I was buy an astor in can but i didnt realized at that time, it was expired.please dont put the expired snacks in the shelf or racks to sell it.its not worthed at all when customers buy and ate the worse snacks, please pay attention of this! Make sure check again of best before all the foods or drinks that you put it in there, Thanks.

The most interesting Asian shop in Darwin. It's not the biggest but they stock new interesting products all the time.

The store is jam packed with South East Asian products especially Indonesian and Thai food.
It has a big range of instant noodle, tea, baking equipment, sour plums and all kinds of lollies.
Prices are reasonable. They don't charge EFTpos fees, which is great.

The only downside is that the price tags aren't always there and we need to check the expiry dates on the products.

I had a very pleasant experience here when on holidays in Darwin, my car had broken down and with kids in the car we were pretty stressed out. The gentleman behind the counter not only gave our kids some icy poles to cool them down, he came outside to look at the car and was able to spot the problem which turned out to be a radiator hose fitting. He fixed the car himself and refused to take any money. I have nothing but respect for him and will be eternally grateful for absolutely saving the day and saving our holiday!

Lots of different Asian foods for sale as well as your everyday items. Little more expensive than the big supermarkets as you would expect. For this you get convinece, friendly smiles and quick service. Well worth it sometimes. Good to support the small local business as well. The alcohol prices are competitive. Shop there lots just easier sometimes.

From what I have seen from the conduct of clientele when I visit - the proprietors put up with a lot of BS. Given this, they have always been polite/friendly and provided good customer service. Good range but prices (in the supermarket) are on the exorbitant side as should be expected from an independent supermarket circa 2019. Bottleshop prices/range are competitive however. They got brooms for sale cheap cheap

This is a small bottleshop attached to a small grocer's shop.
The Grocery-side has a lot of lines not seen in major supermarkets - specialty sauces, and products used in Asian cuisine.
Also has the usual meat, veges, fruit, milk, soft drinks, and bread, etc.
And a take-away, with healthier and tastier choices than many others.
The bottle shop had a good range of beers, wines, and spirits - both local and imported. Prices were reasonable.
Whilst not on the scale of a supermarket, this is vastly more interesting than a convenience store.
Parking is adjacent, and adequate, but if it's raining, you'll get a little wet.
If you're in the vicinity, highly recommended.
Perhaps, have a look when you visit the Malak Markets - Saturdays, from 4pm, in the Dry Season.

Reasonable prices and selection considering the Bottlemart is within a small independent supermarket.
