BIG4 MacDonnell Range Holiday Park reviews
68We camped using powered site. The facilities were great. Lots for the kids to do the waterslide was a big hit. The sunset Hill was amazing.
The best campsite I've been to on my trip so far. So much amenities and equipment! Large pool, gym, library, games room and lots of planned activities. I loved the pancakes on Sunday morning. A real treat!
This park was one our favourites during our 2 week trip! The kid's loved the waterslide and 3 swimming pools! The beds were so comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable!
Cracking site in Alice.and with the brewery pub just a short walk away too! Great pool complex and play facility for kids. Great amenities (lovely showers, toilets) and kitchen facilities all over the camp and very neat, clean and tidy with friendly staff. We got a special during our stay (kids stay free) which made it $43 bucks for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). This made us stay a little longer and is the type of price that these sort or parks ought to offer more often in low season or non peak periods. We certainly wouldn't have stayed so long had we been hit for the extra $20 bucks a night. 10 bucks per child.
Excellent parks, very clean amenities and spacious sites.
Amazing areas for the kids (big and small).
Can get a little roudy if your camping near the school camps but otherwise faultless
Lovely clean park and facilities. Very handy to brewery which is a must visit within walking distance. Pools were great
5 star Park in a 0 star town. Never again. Staff and amenities were great. We left 2 days early when an elderly couples van got broken into in the middle of the night. 3 locals. Everyone got a text to secure their belongings. But they were back the next night.
We were harassed and followed by locals after going out to dinner so we couldn't wait to leave Alice, for good.
Nice and clean. Well laid out. Busy in peak times.
Bed and pillows in cabin I was in were excellent in fact.
The bed was uncomfortable, I even saw a rat in the bathroom. I definitely don’t recommend going here.
Great kid friendly place for a few days. Clean and tidy. Loved the strawberry van every night.
What an absolute joy to stay here! Fantastic caravan park, friendly staff, brilliant camp kitchen, cleanest amentities I have ever visited.everything about this park seems aimed at making your visit the best ever experience! We received a text msg every night to advise to lock down everything n our door to the van.messages came to us advising about entertainment in the hall plus on Sunday free pancakes with condiments all supplied.wow how is this for top 5 star service.loved it here, 10 out of 10 DiscoveryParks ' Alice Springs! Many thanks for making our visit so memorable!?
A large park with lots of sites. Most staff were helpful and friendly. Amenities ok. Some better than others. Great facilities for the kids and a good range of cabins. A close walk to the Alice Springs Brewery.
Great park that is very kid friendly.
My husband & I have learnt a very valuable lesson on this, our first big trip since borders opened… do not go away in school holidays!
We booked an ensuite site, the ensuite was dated & freezing, with open besser blocks in the walls!
The park is lovely, clean & tidy with loads of things for kids to do.
Top service and ready to answer clients never ending questions. Our ensuite site was clean and a surprise drive through site.
I was wary about coming here without kids. The reading room, gym and free yoga were fabulous, especially on those cold days. Loads of activities for guests and the desert truck was a winner!
Very disappointed, we booked 6 months in advance, and we’re allocated a site opposite tent city which is over un by school buses and tents. It’s like schoolies week. Very noisy, they take over camp kitchens and the numbers we’ll exceed what the showers can take
Absolutely outstanding mini resort. Attention to detail, lots of extra activities and very clean. This sets the standard for caravan ultra parks.
Amazing for families. We stayed 4 nights at an ensuite site, highly recommend!
It's a bit out of town, just a short drive.
Facilities are great and well maintained: pools, games room, playgrounds and jumping pillows. There's also a gym and an entertainment centre but we did not check those out this time. Ensuite could do with a spruce up but all still functional. Very decent price. Definitely planning to stay again!
Love it quite enjoyed it very much gives me space to do things in town also have family time thanks
Awesome stay every time. So happy I made it for the pancakes. Huge cabin. Excellent facilities, great service and a brilliant park for the kids as well. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to my next stay.
