Bella Alice

Bella alice was sort of a highlight spot for a really good pasta when in Alice. We used to look forward to going there. We were seated at a table and had to wait while other customers who came in after us were seen to first. Then had to ask for a menu. Sadly they are on a reduced menu in terms of pasta based meals now - only lasagne or cannelloni. Plenty of pizza options and other things, but when your heart is set on a certain sort of meal its just not the same. Disappointed

Finally got to try this place on Todd mall.pizza oven out the front & lots of people was a positive sign.
Tried a vegetarian option of their pizza & was very impressed. Best pizza by a lot that I've had in ages. Only down side was a complete lack of service after the initial order, no chance to order more drinks or food unless you got up & went to the counter. Which I didn't.
Tricky getting back to our car with gates locked in the mall & finding our way back after dark to the car. Need to plan better next time

First time visiting Bella Alice. The pizza was very nice, service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. We will be back again.

The only "Italian" pizza you can find in Alice.
Unfortunately, the only Italian thing about it, is the looks. The pizza itself is very bland with its non authentic ingredients (just to mention one: why getting Australian parmesan from Coles and Woolies when you can buy the real thing?) and a very chewy pizza dough. Something definitely got lost in the process of making the dough and let it rest for the needed time. I really hope the pizzaiolo could take some pride in its job and lift the bar higher, however the poor choice of ingredients and the clearly inexperienced staff, point at some bigger fault in the management/ownership department.
You are lucky enough to own a business, put some heart in it otherwise you might as well open a fast food!

There are many ingredients and fillings, especially miss Italy, which tastes very layered. It is one of the few pizzas that has such chewy crust.

We tried to dine there tonight, however the front staff were incredibly racist and rude to my colleagues. We decided to leave straight away.

The first thing that strikes you when you walk in to the premises is the amazing smell of garlic and olive oil. It stimulates the appetite immediately!
Sitting out side under the vines and the cantina lights strung through them is just lovely.
They have a great range of pastas and Italian favourites and some fantastic deserts - I'm a bit picky with deserts but there isn't one thing on the desert menu that I think "wouldn't try that". I would try them all if I had the space!
Big generous portions, good flavour combos, lovely staff, it's my favourite Italian spot.

Too bad we asked for a type of red beer and they brought us two blonde beers, they got the tables for the pizzas and the orders for the bitters wrong.

The service was good, the place was fairly busy, but they still accomodated everyone like myself who came without a booking. It was quite a chilly, and they were mostly able to seat people inside who asked for it. I sat outside. Unfortunately, there are motion activated lights that constantly turn on and off. It would probably have been more annoying if I had been facing the lights.

The sourdough pizza was delicious, as was the tiramisu. Would definitely recommend.

Pizza was so good and the service was excellent. Was chuffed to get the garlic pizza free after I forgot to order it. Great place to dine in Alice.

We had very early dinner and it was quiet, but the service was quick! Pizza was nice, but the dough was a bit too thin and soggy in the middle.

Great pizza, lots of great options. If you sit outside they make and bake the pizza right in front of you.

We sat outside and was a really nice atmosphere. Great selection of food and drinks on the menu. Food was really tasty would definitely go again if I was a local.

Excellent Neapolitan pizza in taste. Authentic Italians are doing the great job in the historic city. The city center on Sunday to reach there dangerous in the surrounding. Great for vegetarians. Got almost for first time so fresh broccoli as well as other vegetables

The food was great & we were able to book last minute on a Friday night which was really convenient. Unfortunately it was hard to get the waiter's attention throughout & we waited a while to be seated despite being the only ones standing there. It might have been a one off, we enjoyed the night regardless.

Believe me Bella Alice has best pizzas in Australia. When traveling around, pizza takeaway is so handy for tourists. I did try lots pizzas previously. Pizza here is amazing, the crust is sooooo good. Try the very basic garlic pizza as starter, you will love it. The ones with fancy topping are even better. But I did have garlic pizza for a few dinners and breakfast. The pizza still tastes great after warning up in toaster next morning. The octopus is so tender and filled with flavor. The pasta is good too but not as impressive as pizza. We had takeaway first and went for dine in next day. The staffs are very nice. Kids on the street can be naughty, but the staffs know how to handle it decently.

I ordered takeaway on Friday evening - it all got mistimed, my pasta was ready half an hour before the pizza and was stone cold by the time i got back to my car. Not happy when I spent $80-plus.
