Magical spot. Refreshing on a hot day. Worthwhile the dirt road drive but beware it is 4wd only.

If you don’t go here while in Kakadu then you’re not utilising your time properly
Probably the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen

My absolute favourite place in Kakadu so far! Beautiful walk to the waterfall and the water was so refreshing! Camped for the night and had heaps of shade which was great!
Will definitely come back!
Was a little bit eeeeeek crossing the water bits at the beginning but other than that epic!

An absolutely stunning water hole!
Very much regret not bringing my goggles aa I wanted to see how deep it was underwater.
Two diving spots, cool water, shallows and shade on the far end - just a piece of paradise.

You'll endure a bumpy road made for 4WDs, then trek through a third sand track, a third wet jungle, and the last third will be treking over rocks. Very much worth the walk!

Loved this swimming hole! The drive in was approximately 10km of dirt road, a few corrugations but nothing too bad. We were in our 4wd but there were Toyota Corollas and Mazda 5s in there. The walk to the swimming hole was relatively easy, there were a few rocks to climb over. The croc signs were a little concerning but there were plenty of us in the water and nobody was eaten! Definitely worth a visit if you're heading to Kakadu

Stunning location, but the walk in is quite challenging if you are not sure footed on often slippery rocks.

Maguk truly deserves the short walk to get there.
The walk is fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the first part, through the wetlands. The you walk along the river bad (mostly dry when I was there) to reach a stunning crystal clear water surrounded by rocks.
Must go in Kakadu

Went in September morning, less crowded, the pool is much bigger and beautiful than the photos! The driveway is not too bad. The rainforest walk is intermediate level, be ready to climb up and down the rocks, cross few streams and wet soils. You can do it with sandals if you’re a confident hiker.

This place was 5 stars, must visit for all go to Kakadu. About 30mins of corrugated road and then about 25mins walk to the beautiful waterfall and swimming hole. Walk was well signed and very doable for most moderately fit people. Recommend taking a pool noodle if with young children.

Great place very recommended!
We did it with 2WD car and it took 20-30 minutes each side
Just need to do that slow

Beautiful waterfall and pool - perfect place to cool off. Rough 4WD access track ~ 10km's to carpark

One of the most amazing places you will ever visit. Don't forget your camera, sunscreen and water bottle.

We visited Maguk in September just as the build up was starting, have to say that we were not disappointed. An easy walk in through the bush and over some Rocks. Only downside was the amount of ppl there, too many pool noodles. Overall definitely a must to see if you visit Kakadu.

We took a small Front wheel drive SUV in, road was a little corrugated in spots also some spots of soft bull dust.
Carpark is well shaded.

The walk to the Falls is relatively easy, the first appox 700m Is walking track with some water over the track, then there's approx 350m of very rocky terrain, that is slippery once your get some sand on your shoes

Must be well balanced on your feet if your hands are full.

Definitely not suitable for children that need to be carried.

If you can make it, it's absolutely worth it

Amazing spot to swim. One of my favourites places that we visited. If you can get there you have to go there. Gorgeous views, flowing waterfall, crystal clear water and refreshing. Need a reasonable car to get in and it’s only a short walk. A must do.

The road in was pretty good to start with then a bit corrugated in the middle. Plenty of parking at start of fall walk. Walk was very easy at start then got a bit slippery going over rocky area due to sand on rocks. Take care an these rocks and you'll be rewarded by an amazing swimming hole and waterfall. Well worth the drive and walk in.

This is probably my favourite waterfall. It's a good hike to get too but when you get there it's so worth it. Took my water hammock and a nice glass of bubbles here.

Gorgeous waterfall and pool for swimming. Road in was fine bit of corrugation. Walk in had sandy track, muddy bits, and rocky bits just have to be careful. Water is amazing.
