Bark Hut Inn

Hospitality is great and very friendly. Toilets and showers are excellent. Meats to die for and beers cheap. Very spacious. Talk about crocodiles interesting. Overall, it was a great place. You'll see us again.

We had a quick stop here on our way back to Darwin and it was amazing.
Great service plenty of food choices and a great atmosphere.

Excellent place! We stopped here on our way to darwin for 1 night and finally it was 3 nights. Clean toilets, lovely swimming pool, the staff are very friendly, the pub has good prices and in the morning you can buy coffee too! It’s a perfect spot

Actually a really cool bar slash bistro slash accommodation slash servo slash crocodile place.
Really good steak sandwich on fresh turkish bread. Chips on point too.
Crocodile in an enclosure outside which is weird and not great for the croc really.
Not sure what my Elders would think of that!

We called the staff to make a reservation because we didn’t have any internet in the outback. The rooms where booked but they still had a room available with to seperate beds. We arrived at our room and it was as Tiny as a dog house. Dirty and no bathroom even a spider in the room which I killed with my shoe. On the back of the curtain there was a big Brown stain. We asked immediately our money back, the lady wanted to give it back, but she couldn’t because the manager wasn’t neir her. She told us to e-mail. Still haven’t received an answer. 85 dollars for a Place where even my pets don’t want to sleep…

I can only offer a review on the food, other products and services not sampled. So I dropped in for a quick feed. No faults with the service, friendly and helpful. Got the burger and chips $20. It came reasonably quick, but was downhill from their. Undoubtedly the worst burger and chips I have had in a very long time. McDonalds need not fear. The burger was uninspiring to say the least, tasteless, contents sparse and left a wierd aftertaste. The chips were worse, inedible, dry, chewy. I'm assuming they came from a long rest in a bay Marie, if not, they did a good impersonation. Anywho, I definitely recommend passing on the burger.

Will be going back for a longer stay for sure.

Rustic appeal. Very spacious caravan & camping area. Choose your own site. Very cool themed amenities. Tavern for drinks & meals. Service station fuel, snacks, cold drinks, some essentials, Souvenirs etc.

Great pub, terrible music every time I’ve come here. RnB and Rap music doesn’t suit any of the reasons you’ll stop here.

Amazing lil stop for an overnight stop over.
Lunch & Dinner at the pub was yummy with a great selection on offer on the menu & at the bar.

Great stopover between Darwin & Jabiru.beer icy cold, pies, garlic bread, etc.and fuel reasonable price.

Very relaxing. Staff are fantastic, they all have great personalities. Amenities are old but extremely clean. I had a fantastic lunch of garden salad with ham and hubby had one with prawns. The large area very large. Next time I'll choose a small serving.

Took well over 45 mins for two steak sandwiches to arrive and when we ordered the place was perhaps only 1/4 full. After all that wait the sandwiches were only basic pub fare which would have taken 10 mins to prepare, so not sure what was happening for the other 35 mins.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly, plenty of space for kids to run around, nice grass and cooking facilities and toilets were clean. Great pool for everyone including the big kids. The rump steak I had was perfect and beer was cold. Recommend stopping by there.

Little oasis on the Arhem Hwy. Great lush place to stay, clean, tidy, refreshing, casual staff where very helpful and friendly.
Well maintained accom for all type of travellers. Pool was perfect refresh. We will be back

Had the best meal, garlic prawns, yum yum. Hubby had fish and chips and gave 5 stars also. Looking good out there now and thank you so much cookie.

We spent a couple of nights here on our way to Kakadu. Honestly, it was better here than Kakadu. Was a great place to stay to do the river cruise. The manager was great to chat to, the kids were rapt with the crocodile and other animals. The pizzas weren't the best though, probably best to get steak/barra ;)

We stopped for coffee on our way to Kakadu. Didn't stayed for too long but seems like nice place to relax. Cold beer on tap after long drive is always nice
