Australia Post

Exactly today (8/09/2022) around 10: 30 or so, I had been waiting in line to collect my parcel and I went to the left counter, an old woman with short curly blonde hair assisting me.
I had read and done at this exact same place before that 2 VALID forms of ID can be credit card and Medicare card. I used both here previously and it was great. But this time I used it and this old woman gave me a very hurtful look, rolled her eyes, slumped back, and let out a big sigh of disappointment and said she ‘won’t’ accept my 2 VALID forms of ID (along with the card that was left in my mailbox) and said I must have something with my face and address on it, and asked if I lived at home and if I lived with my mother. Once I said yes to both she said that my mother must come with me then to finally receive my package.
My mother came and helped me and we went to the right side desk with a younger woman with long brown hair who happily helped us PROPERLY.
The service I received by the older woman was extremely disgusting.

Very frustrating. It used to be great but in the past few months the delivery has been very chaotic. You get a delivery card but when you tried to collect it's not there, this happened multiple times without any concrete explanation. At one point they suggested to go to the Winnellie post office to collect it, another time the parcel tracking showed that the item is in a remote area an hour away, while in fact it is in their storage. They even screwed up delivery to the parcel locker, they didn't apologize, instead they blame the customer. I genuinely lose faith in them.

Can you tell your postman to put my letters in the mail box not half in half out it is the wet season wet mail is no good to me that’s just laziness if he can’t do his job properly replace him/her my wife was expecting a very very important letter last week (which never turned up) if this is how they put letters in a mailbox that letter could be anywhere not happy not good enough Australia Post

The sort of nasty people that actually go out of their way to give a below 3 par review need a serious head check. I have been dealing with this post office for multiple years, any gripe is not to do with the staff there, they are more then accommodating, Dark web gnarkleez, yeah right///

Best little post office in Darwin. I have a post office box here and have always been treated nicely but the different ladies over the years. This is the only post office in the northern suburbs open on a Sunday. Very convenient

Didn't have parcels ready for collection, couldn't be bothered looking as his young girl wanted to go home even though they were still open. Just not helpful. Casuarina are so much better.
