Argus Hotel Darwin

Great place to stay and not to far of a walk to the centre of town. I stayed with my partner over Christmas 2021 and loved the free breakfast every day. The hotel put on a special Christmas breakfast obviously on Christmas day which was a lovely surprise.
The hotel is kept very clean and the staff were wonderful. I have highly recommended this place to others and looking forward to staying there over Easter 2022.

We booked into the Argus at the last minute due to our flight being changed.
The staff were great. Friendly & helpful. Breakfast was included & again the staff were friendly & very helpful.
Our beds (2 single) were so comfortable.
Location is ok. I would definitely stay again. Thankyou to the staff.

The accomodation was amazing! The continental breakfast made my day. The rooms were neat and flawless the moment we entered. Also staff were really welcoming. A special thanks to Cathy and Co.for looking after us during our stay. I had a good sleep and rest. I must say I had an amazing stay and all thanks to the staff. Worth sharing the experience to my family and friends. Definitely, coming back for another stay.

Had a great two night stay at Argus Hotel. The room was clean and the view was great. Located in the city but away from the noisy streets and the drunk people. They offer underground parking for a small price which is very convenient. Light breakfast, but has quite a few options, the staff was very friendly. They have a gym with a few machines, it has an aircon and a TV. The fact that the pool is open until 10 is a major plus. Definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel was great. Close to everything. Beds were so comfy as we're pillows. Beds made each day and breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. Cereals toasts fruit tea coffee juice yogurt. Would recommend.

Great hotel and very well priced for the style and condition of the room. No hassle check-in or late check out. Highly recommend

Clean & tidy with polite staff. Basic breakfast included all for a very reasonable tariff. Only have treadmills & bikes in fitness room no weights, only one treadmill was working!

Don’t expect any customer service from this hotel. I was booked in for a 10 day stay. The dates were mixed up and when I contacted them their reply was bad luck. They kept the full booking amount ($1815). After I did not show up in the first day they cancelled my whole booking and rebooked the room so double dipped on the room hire. I was informed it’s not their job to give a courtesy call to me. Their solution was to rebook a room at $251/night. No credit no refund but worst of all no customer service.

The rooms were good, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Very basic. Fruit, other than an apple or orange was canned fruit swimming in sugar. Maybe some bananas added to the buffet would have been a nice touch.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A great hotel within walking distance of the CBD. Room was very clean and serviced every day of our 4 day stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very good and had everything you would expect. NOTE don't go to the thai restaurant in the hotel. The food was, well to say poor would be an understatement. Go out somewhere else.

Really nice. Best nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel.very comfy beds and the best pillows ever. Staff very nice and accommodating.

The rooms are cosy and clean, the hotel is quiet and the staff are friendly. We had no problems during the stay. The breakfast does not have a huge selection but is basic continental. We did not use the pool as only stayed one night.

Good Motel with excellent staff. However, they have a serious issue with the false alarm system followed by evacuation. This has occurred twice in our week stay. The management didn't seem to address the root cause of the issue, but rather

This has to be the best value hotel in Australia, we spent a week here and was just superb, the rooms the location the breakfast all magnificent, but best of all was the genuinely friendly happy and helpful staff will most definitely stay here again, thank you for a great week

What a gem! We’ve stayed here ten nights and found almost everything to our liking. Rooms were spacious enough, cleaning was thorough, the light breakfast was good with enough choice to satisfy most people. That breakfast area doubled as a Thai/Indian restaurant of an evening and the food was fantastic. Staff were all polite and reception desk worked with us to solve a vexing problem of a guest who consistently forgot his room and persistently knocked on our door at 3am (we were moved to another floor/room). Would highly recommend as value for money, and we would stay here again. Thanks Argus for making our stay very comfortable.

Amazing value. Very friendly staff. Relatively new building. Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Had dinner at the restaurant. It's Thai/Indian. Was quite nice. Only VERY small complaint is bathroom is a little small and car parking very tight. Designed for small cars. But honestly. This is great. Booked for one night. After going to the room I booked another two nights. Highly recommended.

Great location in the city of Darwin with very friendly staff. Large room with balcony, aircon, wifi and a full bath. Resection area also a lovely retreat especially while waiting for tours or taxi pick up. I also enjoyed the touch of free breakfast and newspaper in the morning. The plunge pool was enough space needed to cool off. My only gripe is to enter the pool and gym area is you had to walk through the hotel dining area.

I give 5 clean crisp rooms with everything U need and buffet breakfast staff are just incredibly helpful and happy I will definitely be back soon
