Close to town, friendly and knowledgeable management, relaxed atmosphere and a management really invested in their own hostel make this one of the best hostels in Australia! Also a shadey pool. Thanks very much guys!

Little place of paradise in Alice Springs. The Hostel is really quiet and clean. Perfect to have rest before and after a roadtrip in the outback!

Beds are comfy, the place is very nice and with really good vibes and the staff is very kind. If I go back to Alice springs I would definetly come back.

Had the pleasure of spending many weeks here over the course of the Central Australian winter, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. Seb and Miriam who run Alice’s Secret are incredibly lovely and helpful; the atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and relaxed; the kitchen space is decked out with everything you need to make proper meals; the pool on those hot Alice days is a godsend; and it’s a super short walk to town. But the main thing as mentioned is simply the atmosphere there. I met some wonderful people during my stay and had many fantastic conversations, as this place tends to attract quality, interesting, and respectful people. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Very comfortable, friendly and secure spot to stay. Really nice garden out the back with hammocks to chill. Fast wifi, hot showers and friendly service!

Bold, colours very welcoming, never stayed at a backpackers before, and Alice's Secret Travellers Inn has set the standard very high, a unique experience.

Different! Very weary tired and chaotic but interesting! Public areas like shared kitchen grubby, needs good clean up and facelift. Plenty of rubbish over flowing rubbish bins. Cabin tiny but comfortable and clean. Shared showers toilets limited. Tried to check in at 1.30pm, but nobody around. Phone calls to 2 different numbers had recorded msg saying check in 10.30 to 2pm and 4pm till 7pm. Front gate lock code was not working when arrived back tired and weary after dinner! Probably a good place for tolerant young backpackers!

If you want somewhere a little different and quirky this is the place for you. Great rates too. Recommended.

An amazing little secret just outside of the town centre.
We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. Close enough to town to walk in for a coffee and delicious baked goods from The Bakery, or out for dinner. Welcoming and friendly owners and staff, clean facilities, beautiful garden area with hammocks and nice pool. Lots of quirky ornaments and decorations around the place. Highly reccommend staying here while in Alice!

This place is perfect, cheap, comfy, clean, and really nice open spaces. And for alice location is great. Highly recommend.

Fab hostel a short walk from the main street of Alice. Everyone was super friendly, and the ski lodge room was fun to stay in, and even had a handy deck to work on. The pool was great to relax by and in on a hot day. Saila was amazing throughout our stay. Would highly recommend staying here when in Alice.

Great! Only problem is parking. It's secure inside the yard (very important in Alice!), but crammy. Having to shift cars around to fit everyone in.

Was an awesome family owned hostel. Don't go anywhere else in Alice, our only regret was not staying longer.

Really great hostel, super cute. Seb and the team make everyone feel really welcome and comfortable. It is a relaxed hostel, with a great pool and kitchen. The ktichen has two different gas fired stoves. There is also an outdoor BBQ, and if you are there on the right night, they have an outdoor pizza oven which gets used. Would recommend!

The best backpackers I have ever been to! Amazing decoration all over the place, peaceful and relaxing, with pool, hammocks and much more (you can relax or read a book or watch a movie, whatever you want) We have stayed in the alpine hut which is really cool! They also provide experience to stay in a bus or a trailer etc.
Really unique and local vibes are amazing!
